University of Oregon Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life Leonard Serrato took his thoughts to his public social media page about newly re-elected President Donald Trump.

In an Instagram story, Serrato said to followers, which included some UO students, to “go f— yourself if you voted for Donald Trump.”
“I hope you go jump off of a f—ing bridge,” Serrato snarled at Trump supporters, who comprise a majority of the voting population.
Here he sums up the sneering contempt of liberal elitists for regular Americans who suffer under Democrat policies:
“If you are sad about your groceries being expensive, get a better f—ing paying job. Do better in life,” Serrato said.
Turns out this attitude did not resonate with voters, who would prefer for the government to stop driving up inflation by wasting money and suppressing energy production.

Serrato being placed on leave is a step in the right direction, but only a tiny one.
Hercules cleaned out the stables by diverting rivers through them. If he were part of the incoming Trump administration, he might look for ways to divert the rivers of government funding that flow into universities, so that our money is spent less indiscriminately. Refocusing universities on constructive studies like the sciences might do wonders to elevate the prevailing culture.
