Alex Padilla Stages Farcical Confrontation

Democrats are getting desperate. Look at the farce they just staged, starring Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA), who came at DHS Secretary Kristi Noem while she was speaking in public:

Video of the incident showed Padilla trying to walk up to Noem while she was speaking at a podium during a press conference in Los Angeles. Padilla simultaneously attempted to shout over Noem, but law enforcement stepped in and forcefully stopped Padilla’s advance.

As White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson explains:

“Padilla stormed a press conference without wearing his Senate pin or previously identifying himself to security, yelled and lunged toward Secretary Noem.”

The idea was to take a Senator with a Hispanic name, have him storm toward Kristi Noem in public, and then exploit the inevitable reaction by security to make it look like Republicans are authoritarians, racists, et cetera for enforcing immigration law and quelling riots, the topic on which Secretary Noem was speaking.

His fellow Democrats clutched their pearls on cue:

After the incident Thursday in Padilla’s home state of California, Senate Democrats took to the front steps of the Capitol to speak out against law enforcement’s treatment of Padilla. The Congressional Hispanic Caucus also marched over to House Speaker Mike Johnson’s office to protest the incident.

Nothing is beneath these people.
