A New Gaza

Recovery, reconstruction and economic development of Gaza must be planned now by a consortium of nations. President Trump was right that Gaza is a very valuable property that must be turned into a modern, economic development zone for Arabs, Israel, and others.

Our planning group at the Stand Up America US Foundation envisions an area of schools, modern housing, manufacturing plants, and hospitals. medical clinics, new road networks with a modern infrastructure of roads and transportation. The only other viable plan is to build new cities in the Sinai supported by Egypt and Saudi Arabia. We support a creative, modern plan to move to a new Gaza.

There are many new technologies available to leapfrog aging platforms to modernize the new GAZA. This vision points toward a new Gaza that rises to fulfill the potential of modern Arabs. Mixed-use community Design would enhance the development of the communities within the Gaza territory.

● Mixed-use communities will integrate housing, schools, clinics, markets, and recreation spaces within walkable, bike-friendly layouts as well as modern hotels to initiate a lucrative tourist, beach resorts.

● Trade schools to teach required skills. e.g., electrical, design, plumbing, construction, etc.

● Designs reflect traditional Arab patterns with modern efficiency—supporting privacy, resilience, and community life.

● Housing options include traditional homes with modern adaptations, and real estate property ownership. Establishing clear legal property rights is essential.

● Onsite carpentry, construction, and modular furnishing workshops will create jobs and essential goods.

● Central markets, parks, and community gathering spaces will strengthen social bonds and local economies.

● Production facilities and light industry zones will be integrated to enable rapid job creation.

● Launch economic and technical training centers aligned with market demands.

● Prioritize skills in construction, technology, entrepreneurship, and modern trades.

● Urban agriculture and green zones will support food production and distribution.

A planning group of supportive Arab, Israeli, European and US firms/persons is essential and should initiate the formation of the planning/design/financial team plan now. The Stand Up America US Foundation has previously designed a Rebuild Renaissance plan for a new Syria.
