Chiang Kai-shek’s Warnings to the World

The China Team Report

By MG Paul Vallely, US Army (Ret)

“As long as communism exists, there can be no true peace in the world”

Chiang Kai-shek (1887–1975), President of the Republic of China, was among the first to call the Communist Party as the “Satanic Communist Red Devil”. Being a Christian, Chiang viewed the CCP as an evil force that challenges God and destroys human dignity. Back in that era, Chiang Kai-shek was one of the earliest and most resolute anti-Communists.

On August 28, 1945, Mao Zedong, accompanied by U.S. Ambassador Hurley, flew to Chongqing to hold a negotiation with Chiang. After getting off the plane, Mao, who had scolded Chiang viciously for more than ten years, suddenly shouted, “Long live Chairman Chiang!” Later, Mao issued a written speech, promising to “guarantee domestic peace, implement democratic politics, and strengthen national unity.” Mao hypocritically expressed a willingness to cooperate with the Nationalist Party, while behind the scenes, Mao fought against the Nationalist Party for the victory of the anti-Japanese War.

Before going to Chongqing, on August 25, Mao instructed Deng Xiaoping to return to Shanxi and strike the local Nationalist army hard. Mao said, “Do not worry about my safety in Chongqing. The harder you fight, the safer I will be; the better my negotiation will be.”

The 41-day Chongqing negotiation drew nationwide attention and concealed the CCP’s actual actions — the CCP in the background occupied 200 cities, and forcibly destroyed key transportation arteries across the country to obstruct the Nationalist army from accepting Japan’s surrender, thereby enabling the CCP to forcibly seize Japanese military arms.

In reality, the cruel 8-year-long anti-Japanese war was fought by the Nationalist Party led by Chiang, while Mao and his communist army watched on the side, with a dark scheme being brewed. Mao and the CCP waited for the diminish of the Nationalist’s military in the war against Japanese and plotted to defeat the exhausted Nationalists in a civil war afterwards. To people who understand this history, it is such an irony that the CCP held a massive military parade this September to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory Day.

On October 10, 1946, the Nationalist Party and the CCP signed the Double Tenth Agreement. However, less than a month after Mao’s return to Yan’an, Mao completely broke all agreements and promises. Chiang Kai-shek wrote in his diary: “The Communist Party not only has no credibility, but lacks humanity; they are worse than beasts.” Chiang was well aware that “peaceful coexistence” with the Communist regime would only result in being swallowed whole by the devil.

In 1957, Chiang Kai-shek further elaborated his views in an article titled “The Crusade of the Twentieth Century”. He pointed out that Communism is essentially a “fake-religion” defaming the Creator; it is not only a sham philosophy but also a cult ideological system. It infiltrates hearts with deceits, deprives freedom through bloody violence, and replaces reverence for God with atheism. Chiang warned the world: as long as Communism exists, there can be no true peace in the world.

Chiang’s Letter to the Chinese Communist Party Members

Many Americans of Chinese origin who lived through the CCP’s Cultural Revolution (1966–1976) describe BLM and other events in the United States as a second Cultural Revolution in their life. At the onset of the CCP’s Cultural Revolution, Chiang authored “A Letter to the Chinese Communist Party Members” in 1966. This letter remains a useful reference today. Here is an excerpt:

Tomorrow is the Double Ten Day, the 55th anniversary of the founding of our motherland, the Republic of China. This festival was established by Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the Father of the Nation, who led the national revolution, overthrew the Manchu imperial system, and created the Republic of China. I believe you will never forget this.

  1. Speaking what the Communist Party members want to say in your hearts

I have not spoken with you for a long time. Today, our nation’s survival and every person’s life or death have reached a critical moment. We are all Chinese, and many of you were my students and served as my cadres. Therefore, at this moment I must speak to you to fulfill my responsibility to you. But today, my speech first aims to voice for every one of you what you want to say in your heart but do not dare to say aloud…

Mao fears your honest words, …because Mao knows that if your true words were spoken, anti‑Mao forces would rise… The undeniable fact today is that Mao does not trust your generation—from party, government, and military leaders down to party members and the so‑called workers and peasants—almost entirely, so he had to rely on an ignorant next generation to train the Red Guards to protect his personal life and to uphold his despotic, life‑and‑death tyranny. I understand you bear an indescribable pain, especially in spirit, tormented, crushed, and humiliated…

  1. The Essence and Effect of the Cultural Revolution

The truth of Mao’s Cultural Revolution…was to use what they called “Mao Zedong Thoughts” as a talisman, to purge party, government, and military personnel. Put plainly, it was to purge all Communist cadres and ordinary party members who had knowledge, independent thoughts, achievements, or contributions, so that the Red Guards could replace them in the Communist Party…

Today I speak frankly and sincerely to tell Communist Party members that when you joined the Party, you may have sincerely believed in its Marxism-Leninism, participated in so‑called “class struggle” and “social revolution.” Unbeknownst to you, since the 1930s…the “class struggle” became Mao’s internal purge and power struggles within the Party; the so‑called “social revolution” became the Cultural Revolution that harmed the people, devastated the nation, and poisoned society. These were the tools used by Mao since the 1930s in the name of proletarian revolution to lure, coerce, struggle, purge, control, and massacre; the deceits that led to national ruin.

Now everyone understands that “Mao Zedong Thoughts”…have revealed its true face as a bandit, an executioner, and violent mob, erasing the administrative and military organization of your Party, canceling the cultural and educational systems, and seeking to destroy Chinese culture, purge intellectuals, and undermine modern civilization, attempting to rule Asia and the world with its “people’s war” weapon, imitating what Hitler did twenty years earlier—that is the essence and effect of Mao’s Cultural Revolution and the Red Guard insurrection.

  1. Mao’s Tactics in Power Struggle

Mao’s tactics in power struggle are as follows: his external struggles begin by parasitizing and then backfiring; his internal struggles begin by using others and then crushing them. He is untrustworthy to the outside world, and treacherous to internal people.

In short, Mao’s tactics are “DECEITS.” He is deceitful in every word and every action, and no one could escape his deceits, nothing could escape his deceits. You all have indeed been subjected to his deceits; our Nationalist Party has also been deceived by him. The difference between us is that I was the first to recognize his vicious deceits.

What America Is Facing Today

The CCP’s ultimate goal is to rule the world with communism. Today, many Americans are still deceived by the CCP. Some even argue, “What is wrong with CCP taking control?”

To defeat America, the CCP has been taking every chance to spread deceitful propaganda to incite conflicts and divisions (CCP’s common tactic“divide and conquer”). For instance, the assasination of Charlie Kirk is described by the CCP as “America has entered the dark age of political violence, the nation is severely seperated into the left and the right”. In reality, remembering Charlie Kirk’s legacy is a spiritual revival of American traditional values. As some with hatred celebrate the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the American general public have demanded investigations into these individuals, the CCP again twisted the fact, “no more freedom of speech in America”…

The on-going trade war on soybeans is declared by the CCP as “another victory of the CCP”, “Trump begging Xi to purchase soybeans from America instead of Brazil…”

President Trump’s allies with European nations are described by the CCP as “poor European countries being bullied by America…”

Recently as the CCP boasts a big NIO electric car exhibition in Hangzhou, the insider news tells that these cars could be remotely controlled by the CCP, meaning these cars could turn into CCP’s weapons when needed. However, some Americans are eagerly planning to purchase these cheap cars, from Mexico if needed…

American people shall study the warnings from Chiang, learn the lessons from the history, stay away from the CCP, root out infiltration of the communists, return to traditional values and common sense while staying united to safeguard the greatest nation on earth.
