Amir Tsarfati responded to a short video that Kirk Cameron created in response to Ted Cruz’s comments about our nation’s obligation to Israel in an interview Sen. Ted Cruz had with Tucker Carlson. To say the least, it was contentious. That’s OK. Let’s get these discussions out in the open, because there is a lot of misinformation surrounding Bible prophecy. And I should know! I’ve been in the thick of these controversies for decades. I used to debate dispensationalists. These debates have since dried up.
The eschatological views that Amir Tsarfati advocates have numerous interpretive problems that are widespread. I’ve dealt with most of them in my books Last Days Madness, Wars and Rumors and Wars, my Gog and Magog book, Prophecy Wars, New Testament Eschatology with Frank Gumerlock, Identifying the Real Last Days Scoffers, The Rapture and the Fig Tree Generation, Left Behind: Separating Fact from Fiction, and Ten Popular Prophecy Myths Exposed and Answered. In addition, I’ve written dozens of articles over the years. I even wrote an article titled “Russia as Gog and Magog is Back in the News” in response to Amir Tsarfati’s interview with Glenn Beck.
Amir Tsarfati has also written Israel and the Church: An Israeli Examines God’s Unfolding Plans for His Chosen Peoples, Prophecy Essentials, Discovering Daniel, Exploring Ezekiel, The Last Hour, Revealing Revelation, Jesus is Coming Any Day Now, Has the Tribulation Begun?, and others. When I saw Kirk’s short video, I knew it would get him in trouble. If there’s a third rail in eschatology, it’s discussions about Israel.

Amir’s dispensationalism teaches a 2000-year gap (and counting) between what God promised and what is happening with Israel now. To make matters worse, Amir’s beliefs also include a terrible time of coming trouble and tribulation for the Jews.
