During a demonstration, about 40 pro-Palestinian activists entered the main building of the Technical University of Munich. They set off fireworks from the roof and unfurled a banner, as a police spokesperson reported. According to the information, the demonstration was held under the motto, “Students against TUM complicity-Stop research for apartheid.”
After about 2 hours, the activists left the building when they were threatened with trespass charges by the university. The police then secured the entrance to the university building.
According to police, around 500 demonstrators in total marched through the Bavarian capital on Friday evening. No other incidents happened, (and )around 100 police officers were deployed.
