A mob of roughly 150 anti-ICE agitators swarmed a federal building in lower Manhattan, shoving against barricades and screaming at NYPD officers as agents prepared to enforce immigration law. Masked protesters in helmets and balaclavas tried to overwhelm police lines, snarling “you are corrupt” while officers ordered them to back up. Two were hauled off in cuffs as the crowd raged—an explosive snapshot of a city where far-left activists now riot to protect illegal migrants and obstruct federal law enforcement doing its job.

More than 150 anti-ICE protestors descended on a lower Manhattan government building Saturday and clashed with police after reports that federal agents are planning to round up illegal migrants in the area later this weekend.

At least two protesters were arrested as of 1 p.m., police sources said.

Video showed some protestors screaming “you are corrupt” and ignoring NYPD officers’ pleas to “back up” behind barricades authorities had set up.
