Canadian authorities have arrested three Toronto-area men — Waleed Khan (26), Osman Azizov (18), and Fahad Sadaat (19) — for alleged armed attempts to kidnap women and members of the Jewish community, amid a broader investigation involving terrorism-related offenses.
the men were alleged to have chased two women while armed with a handgun, a rifle, and a knife. Police said that the attempted abduction was interrupted again by a passing driver, and the men fled.
The individuals were “targeting women and members of the Jewish community,” Toronto police chief Myron Demkiw said.

Canadian authorities charged a man who allegedly conspired with the Islamic State to provide information to ISIS and commit murder, and officials linked him to several alleged hate crimes targeting members of the Jewish community.
Waleed Khan, 26, of Toronto, is accused of conspiring to commit murder for a terrorist group, providing funds and property to the terrorist group ISIS and aiding terrorist activity, Toronto police said Friday.
