Seattle Mayor in Insurrection Against US Government

Maybe Tampon Tim Walz is not far off with his talk of civil war. In Minneapolis, the police chief urges citizens to call 911 on ICE agents. In Philadelphia, the district attorney and the sheriff bark that they will arrest and imprison federal agents. Ultramoonbat Katie Wilson, no longer sponging off her parents, is now Mayor of Seattle. So this report from American Greatness should come as no surprise:

Wilson has announced plans to mobilize the city’s police force to gather intelligence on ICE agents conducting immigration enforcement operations and share that information with “community partners” on the streets.

That is, she will help possibly ChiCom-funded radical left outfits dox ICE agents, whose families have been targeted by liberals and who have bounties placed on them by foreign criminal cartels.

Wilson said she will also bar federal immigration officers from utilizing city-controlled property, “including parks, parking lots, plazas, vacant lots, garages, and Seattle Center – for civil immigration enforcement.”

The intent to obstruct law enforcement could not be more clear. Yet she still has a use for the police:

Specifically, the mayor directed the Seattle Police Department “to investigate, verify, and document reports of immigration enforcement activity.”

Meanwhile, Seattle has one of the highest crime rates in the country.

As always, taxpayers pick up the tab for the moonbattery:

The self-identified Democrat-Socialist [i.e., Wilson] said the city will allocate $4 million, previously appropriated by the City Council, to left-wing organizations providing legal defense to illegal aliens and “community support.”

It is official. In Seattle, local government is on the side of foreign lawbreakers against the federal government. This situation is not tenable.

Hold on, there is an update:

The Seattle Police Officers Guild (SPOG) released a statement on social media Friday afternoon blasting Wilson’s “ludicrous” executive order for “pitting two armed law enforcement agencies against each other.”

Seattle Police Chief Shon Barnes has indicated a willingness to go along with Wilson et al. by not participating in immigration enforcement and by documenting incidents on behalf of anti-ICE moonbats. But SPOG President Mike Solan is defiant:

“I will not allow SPOG members to be used as political pawns.”

Looks like there are still legitimate LEOs on the Seattle police force. Leftists have some purging to do.
