Six Muslim Nations Make Joint Statement Against Iran

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

We are watching increasingly bold and strategically serious moves by the fellow Muslim nations in the region.

What once seemed unthinkable—Arab states openly aligning, coordinating, and preparing collective action against Iran—is now unfolding in real time under the historic presidency of Donald Trump, a shift that is rapidly redrawing the strategic map of the Middle East. Extraordinary—once unthinkable—realities are unfolding under the phenomenon of Donald Trump. A real peace in the Middle East.

Regional dynamics are shifting fast as multiple Gulf and Arab states take a far more forceful stance against Iran. Countries including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan have jointly condemned Iranian attacks as violations of sovereignty and international law, while explicitly affirming their right to respond in self-defense.

At the same time, the UAE is signaling a deeper strategic alignment with the United States, emphasizing shared security interests and readiness to confront what it calls a broader global threat—while still leaving the door open to diplomacy, but only from a position of strength.

These statements are backed by reality on the ground: the UAE has absorbed significant attacks, intercepting large numbers of drones and missiles, suffering casualties, and facing economic targeting. The message is clear—regional players are no longer passive; they are hardening alliances and preparing to push back more aggressively against Iran.

Greg Wehner of Fox News:“The State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan renew their condemnation in the strongest terms of the blatant Iranian attacks, which constitute a flagrant violation of their sovereignty, territorial integrity, international law, international humanitarian law, and the Charter of the United Nations, whether carried out directly or through their proxies and armed factions they support in the region,” the nations said…. “These acts are a breach of international laws and conventions and a blatant violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 2817 (2026), which explicitly demands that Iran immediately and unconditionally cease any attacks or threats against neighboring states, including through the use of proxies,” the statement read…. Additionally, the nations reaffirmed what they described as their full right to respond to the ongoing attacks under international law, “which guarantees the right of states to self-defense, individually and collectively, in the event of aggression, and our right to take all necessary measures to safeguard our sovereignty, security, and stability” (Fox News).

Lana Nusseibeh is Minster of State for the United Arab Emirates. She was bullish on the partnership with the U.S. in her conversation with Bret Baier on Fox News yesterday: The UAE has fought side by side with the United States in over six coalitions in our history. We have shared values, we have shared history with the United States, we have inter-operability with the United States. They are a clear partner to us in regional security, and we intend to double down on that. Today, we are looking at a threat to not only our region, but to the international community at large that needs to be stopped in whatever way possible. The UAE is always for a diplomatic off-ramp at the end of that. We need to use diplomacy, but we need to use diplomacy when Iran understands that its behavior as a rogue actor is not acceptable neither to the region nor to the international community (Yakoby).

The UAE has taken a disproportionate number of missile attacks from the Iranian terror regime: “By hitting the UAE, it is seeking to undermine the role it is playing in linking the wider region with outside actors and to cause wider ripple effects in the global economy in terms of trade and investment, in addition to the ongoing efforts to impose costs in the global energy markets,” said Brian Katulis, a senior fellow at the Middle East Institute…. Since the conflict started, UAE air defenses have engaged with 1,789 drones, 352 ballistic missiles and 15 cruise missiles, according to the UAE Ministry of Defense. The aerial attacks have led to the deaths of two UAE members of the armed forces, along with the deaths of six other individuals. More than 161 people have been injured (The Hill).
