Death of Spain: Socialist government to grant amnesty to 500,000 foreigners in the country

It’s bitterly ironic that even now, as former New York Times hack Judith Miller denigrates Bat Ye’or’s groundbreaking book Eurabia as a conspiracy theory, we see it coming true before our very eyes. This amnesty in Spain will mean the death of Spain as a free nation. It will mean the eventual Islamization of Spain. After the ancestors of the Spanish people fought for 700 years to free themselves from the cruel Islamic yoke, now this generation of Spaniards has invited the Muslims back in again. And this time, few, if any, Spaniards have the will to resist.

Spain’s Socialist Workers’ Party has authorized plans to grant amnesty to 500,000 illegal migrants in the country, authorities said.

Pedro Sanchez, Spain’s prime minister and general secretary of the Socialist Workers’ Party, said in an April 14 statement shared on X that the Council of Ministers would approve a move to grant amnesty to migrants.

“The Council of Ministers will approve today the Royal Decree that initiates the process of extraordinary regularization of people in an irregular situation in our country. An act of normalization, of recognizing the reality of nearly half a million people who already form part of our daily life. And, also, an act of justice and a necessity,” Sanchez said, according to an X translation.

“We recognize rights, but we also demand obligations. That those who already form part of our day-to-day do so under equal conditions, contributing to the sustenance of our country and our model of coexistence.”

“Today, once again, I feel proud to be Spanish,” he continued.

The move will provide amnesty to 500,000 illegal migrants and allow them to be formally integrated into the Spanish workforce, according to the BBC. The government will offer migrants a one-year renewable residence permit. Migrants seeking amnesty must apply between April 16 and the end of June. They must also prove they have been living in Spain for five months and have no criminal record, the outlet reported.

A man identified only as Ricardo, who plans to apply for amnesty, feels the move is beneficial.

“This is going to benefit a lot of people, give them access to work and to a better quality of life. And it means more money for the Spanish state and more workers will be legally available for employers,” he said, according to the BBC.
