Radical Abigail Spanberger Goes After US Constitution

Somehow, Democrats managed to convince the gullible that Abigail “Let Your Rage Fuel You” Spanberger would govern Virginia as a moderate. Upon taking power, she immediately made it clear to even the most clueless that she is a radical.

Spanberger signed HB965 into law, which would effectively null and void votes cast in Virginia itself and only give its Electoral College votes to the nationwide popular vote winner.

This constitutes a direct attack on the US Constitution and thereby on our system of government. The idea is to guarantee Democrats permanent power if they can use open borders and the welfare state to pump up the government-dependent populations of a few blue states.

Virginia lawmakers will reconvene on April 22 to debate, approve, or reject Gov. Abigail Spanberger’s proposed amendments to dozens of pieces of legislation, including multiple gun control bills.

Her objective is to make pending antigun legislation even more tyrannical.

Under the language proposed by the governor, the first definition of an “assault firearm” would be “A semi-automatic center-fire rifle or pistol with a magazine capacity in excess of 15 rounds.”

For crying out loud. That would make the SR9 I use for concealed carry an assault weapon. Carrying it for self-defense in Virginia — home of the primary authors of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence — would result in up to 12 months in jail and/or a $2,500 fine.

One Virginia bill proposes making it illegal for 18–20-year-old adults to possess an “assault firearm” unless accompanied by an adult. Spanberger et al. are as dumb as they are anti-American.

A more accurate definition of assault firearms would be “guns that Abigail Spanberger types will come for first before coming for the rest of them.” Democrats know that their agenda cannot be fully implemented against a population capable of defending itself. They regard the Constitution as an obstacle.
