The leftist governments who are predictably objecting to Israel’s terror death penalty law are evil. Many countries including the United States have comparable laws. But it’s only Israel that these governments condemn.

Note their silence on how the Palestinian Authority and a dozen Muslim countries have the death penalty for being gay, atheist, apostate, or even just criticizing Islam.

Many Palestinian terrorists have been released from Israeli prisons in lopsided prisoner exchanges. Once released, these barbaric and blood thirsty terrorists renew their terror attacks against the Israeli people. The most notable example is Yahya Al-Sinwar. The mass murdering Sinwar was released from an Israeli prison in 2011 as part of the Gilad Shalit prisoner swap. Sinwar would then go on to be the chief architect of the October 7th attack against Israel. If Sinwar was sentenced to death, the October 7th attack may not have happened. This is a law that must be enacted to prevent future October 7th like attacks against Israel.
