Signs, Signs, everywhere signs – get ready!
Today, the filing period opens across the state for those interested in serving our state and local communities.
Filing period runs through noon, Monday, March 31st.
With our Richland County Councilman stepping down, I imagine we will see a handful of candidates offer their services. School Board filing is not until later this year.
There are Congressional offices, Constitutional Offices (Governor, Attorney General, etc) as well as all 124 House of Representative seats , up for election this season.
State primaries for both parties will be in June with the General Election later in November.
I’ll be running again and if I have a Republican primary, you’ll see my campaign signs going up early May (I try not to “tacky” the community up for too long). As always, I will have all my signs personally picked up no later than 24-48 hours after the election is finished.
Get ready, with all those races, I expect to see signs everywhere…and I expect the candidates to take them down as soon as possible!
