James Talarico’s Politically Corrected Bible

A lesbian pastor from James Talarico’s longtime church recently confirmed that his attempt to pass himself off as moderate is a sham. That’s not all we can learn from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. The Daily Caller reports on the “Inclusive Bible” it passes out to parishioners:

The Inclusive Bible’s translators say the version goes beyond simply swapping out male pronouns. They describe it as a “re-imagining” of Scripture intended to find “new and non-sexist ways” to express biblical language.

So that’s where Talafreako got the idea God is nonbinary.

In a section explaining its translation choices, the book states that it avoids using “Son of God” to describe Jesus, instead preferring “Only Begotten,” “God’s Own,” and “Eternally Begotten.”

Not only feminism but also classical economic Marxism is applied:

It also changes other traditional gendered references to God, including “Lord,” which the translators say is “sexist” and “classist.”

Talafreako’s and this church of moonbattery go way back:

Talarico has deep ties to St. Andrew’s and [head pastor Jim] Rigby. Talarico was baptized at St. Andrew’s and has been attending services there since he was a child. Rigby also married Talarico’s parents and delivered the invocation when Talarico was sworn into the Texas House.

Rigby has been described as his mentor.

A Texas Monthly profile from December 2025 notes that Talarico “took to Rigby at a young age,” and reports that the two attended several political protests together in the early 2000s.

Testifies Talafreako,

“He always told us our love for God has to grow into [social] justice and move us from the sanctuary to the streets.”

Rigby’s gospel is not exactly Christian:

He avoids Christian creeds and prayers in services to avoid being unwelcoming to non-Christians, has described Jesus as closer to a “loving atheist than an indifferent theologian,” compared fetal remains to “extracted teeth,” and appeared to deny the Virgin Birth and the Resurrection of Jesus.

Talarico too is an advocate of snuffing out innocent life in the womb. The self-described “Christian who hates Christianity” claims there is “a lot of biblical evidence” supporting this viewpoint. No doubt there is — in Talarico’s Bible.
