At approx 13:30, while attending my son’s travel ball game, 2 F-15’s (assumed on approach to Barnes AFB) buzzed the park. I am an airplane nerd and have been a student pilot. I would consider myself well educated regarding aviation. As I sat down in my lawn chair next to my wife I noticed many high flying commercial jets with bright white vapor trails. The sky was very clear and the sky a deep blue. For my own entertainment, as it was in between games, used my iphone 14 on video to see if it could zoom in enough and clear enough to ID the high flyers. Was it an A380 or something different? I often use FlightRadar 24 and look to the sky to look at the planes. When playing back the video, near second 12, I saw a bright light shooting up. At first, didn’t think much of it. When hitting edit to be able to look frame by frame, I still found it interesting. I then thumbed through the video again and around second 7/8, I saw what appeared to be a darker object. I went frame by frame on that and captured what appears to be a saucer. I can submit the original vid and supply metadata. I also took a google earth pic and pinned the park where we were and shaded the location of Barnes and Westover AFB. I tried to post on MUFON FB page, but it never posted and was essentially ignored while far less convincing pics and vids were posted. So I am trying this.
