1/10/2025 / 10:05 a.m. Pacific Time. Paranormal Hotline call came in from Rocky River, Ohio. Rocky River is a city in western Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. Rocky River is a suburb of Cleveland. Rocky River is located along the shore of Lake Erie approximately 9 miles west of downtown Cleveland. The city is named for the Rocky River that forms on its eastern border. The caller on my paranormal hotline is Emilia. Emilia was born in Romania and lived there for 7 years. Emilia came to America with her parents. They settled in Cleveland and later moved into the suburbs known as Rocky River. At the age of 17, Emilia met another Romanian family in Cleveland and started dating their 20-year-old son named Dorin. Emilia tells me that their relationship was romantic and quite normal. Emilia had dreams of marrying Dorin. Unfortunately, Dorin had other plans. He cheated on Emilia and broke it off with Emilia. Emilia didn’t take the break-up easy. Emilia would confront Dorin and have horrible arguments with Dorin. Emilia even slapped Dorin’s face. One day Dorin had enough and cursed Emilia. Emilia on the third day after being cursed was tormented by a Moroi. A Moroi is a Romanian vampire ghost. This type of vampire is basically an energy vampire, and Emilia was soon to find out how dangerous a Moroi is. The Moroi which is a male ghost would grab Emilia by the throat and suck out her energy. The next day Emilia would feel drained and was unable to go to school or work the night shift at a popular restaurant in Cleveland.

Emilia was invited by two of her girlfriends to celebrate one of the girl’s birthday at the Flats. During this celebration, the three of them indulged on a nice boat ride on Lake Erie. They had a nice lunch and when the sun went down, they enjoyed a live band at a nightclub. This has turned into a fantastic day for Emilia’s birthday celebrating friend. As the night progressed, Emilia had a strange feeling come over her. She went into the restroom and realized that she was possessed by the Moroi and hungered for energy. Emilia was in a crowded nightclub and discovered that if she touched people in the crowd, skin-on-skin, she would absorb the energy from the people in the crowd that she touched. One woman she held onto for a couple of minutes, passed out on the floor. Emilia was able to drain her completely of her energy. Emilia when arriving at home, felt completely energized. Emilia felt strong and powerful. Emilia was frightened knowing that a Moroi has possessed her body and soul. Emilia tells me she feels like she is now a living Moroaica (female energy vampire) and she now constantly hungers for energy. She feels that if this is not controlled, she may take too much energy from her victim and that victim will die. She asks me for help. In this situation, since she feels she is possessed, I recommended that she should receive a full submersion baptism (a basic form of exorcism) to get rid of the entity that is attached to her. Emilia says she will do this and keep me informed on how she is doing. Emilia also told me that she is fascinated with the paranormal and has been visiting haunted locations in Cleveland. Emilia says it’s her guilty pleasure. I told Emilia to take it easy with visiting haunted locations after she receives her baptism. She is in a vulnerable state of mind and a dark force can once again take control. After a baptism, it is best to gravitate towards positive energy and not negative energy. Wait a few months before tackling haunted locations. Below are three haunted locations that Emilia has visited.

FRANKLIN CASTLE:
Emilia says that she did not go inside this mansion, because it’s now a private residence. Emilia conducted an exterior investigation. Emilia was armed with a spirit box and says that the spirit box communicated these words: “Hell is inside!” This mansion was built in 1881 by Hannes Tiedemann, this home was named after the street it occupies in Ohio City. The family that lived in this mansion died horrible deaths. Four of their children were killed, along with Hannes’ mother and wife. Suspicion of foul play was placed on the shoulders of Hannes Tiedermann. The accusations were unfounded. The castle has since gone through many different owners, and with each one, have come new accounts of strange ghostly activity, stories of secret rooms, and attempts to contact the dead still haunt the property. Previous owners have heard disembodied talking and whispering. Disembodied footsteps are heard. Ghostly hands touching the hands of the living. Things have gone missing and then reappear. A female former owner was bitten on the shoulder and scratched down her leg.

SQUIRE’S CASTLE:
With Squire’s Castle, Emilia did an outside investigation. She captured some green orbs floating near the walls of this castle. The castle is located in the North Chagrin area of the Metroparks. Special Note: Metro Parks refers to the Columbus and Franklin County Metropolitan Park District. Mr. Squire built this mansion as a summer home for himself and his family, where they could eventually live off the land and he could enjoy hunting at his leisure. Legend has it that Mr. Squire’s wife ventured down into the trophy room with her red lantern, saw something terrifying, fell and broke her neck. She did not die in this castle, and it is said that she died on the way to the hospital. People have seen her ghostly spirit walking around on the grounds of the castle. There have also been reports that you can spot a red light coming from the windows of the castle at night. Shadow figures are seen moving about inside the castle.

DRURY MANSION:
Built in 1912 by industrialist Francis Drury, this sprawling mansion has over 50 rooms. It also has maze-like hallways. and a secret tunnel that runs under Euclid Avenue to the Drury Theater. This tunnel is very haunted with ghostly spirits roaming about. People who have visited the tunnel have been touched and pushed. This mansion in the past has served as a boarding house, and then a halfway house in 1972. Inmates reported the feeling of being watched, hearing footsteps, doors closing, and window blinds sliding up and down on their own. An employee reported seeing a ghost of a mysterious woman with a top knot, who has been spotted in the main staircase as well as the kitchen. Emilia captured an EVP of a woman giggling.

HOUSE OF WILLS
Special Note: When I was stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky, I visited the House of Wills – 2491 E. 55th Street, Cleveland with my friend Jim Summerson. This building is very haunted. It was an old funeral home. Ghostly figures peer out the windows. J. Walter Wills Sr. started the “The House of Wills” around 1905, becoming a namesake in the business. The spooky vibes increases when its other use in 1912 served as a hospital. Reported deaths occurred there during this time, along with a recent 2006 incident, in which a man was shot and bled to death near the doorstep. People have seen shadow people around the House of Wills. They have also seen a swirling vortex in which shadow people walk into the vortex and walk out of the vortex.
