This article is called HPI: Down the Rabbit Hole. The reason why, is sometimes I feel like I am going down a rabbit hole and I have no idea where it will take me. My nickname is The Demon Warrior. I have been called other names too, like Demon Hunter, the Demonologist and even Demon Slayer. I have been on over 2500 paranormal cases and I run a group called HPI – Halo Paranormal Investigations. Out of 2500 cases, I would say about 1000 cases are so-called “demonic”. Out of 10 demonic cases, usually only one case can be considered as demonic, and the rest are some type of mental issue. A lot of my cases are with people that see demonic faces in their carpets or stucco wall. This is more than simple pareidolia, it’s a rare disorder that makes people think they’re seeing ‘demon-like’ faces everywhere, with people’s eyes and mouths stretched out, ears pointed, and deep grooves carved into their faces. This condition is called Prosopometamorphopsia, the disorder was recently diagnosed in a 59-year-old man, according to a study published in The Lancet. In some of my demonic cases, I had to be very careful and make sure my investigators were safe and protected. Here are some of the bizarre cases I had to deal with.

1. The Obese Burlesque Dancers
This case occurred in an apartment in San Francisco. I brought 6 investigators and as soon as they walked into the apartment, they immediately left. The apartment was infested with cockroaches. I placed a bottle of holy water on the counter, and the roaches went after my holy water, because they were thirsty. I had to move my equipment to a safe spot, so no cockroach would hitch a ride through my duffel bag filled with ghost hunting equipment. There were two huge posters of the 2 women of this apartment hanging on the wall. The pictures showed 2 obese women half naked. I asked the ladies, if the ladies on the posters were them? The ladies said “yes” and added this comment: “some men love big women”. The apartment was also infested with cats and there were 3 dead cats in the hallway. One of my investigators called animal control and also the SPCA and made a report about the dead cats. The 2 ladies told me that they had several demons in the house. I had to wonder, if a person can live in a house like this, could there be demons involved? The apartment was so filthy and unsanitary, I only could wonder how they could live in this filth? I did a quick house blessing and left. The last time I heard from them, is when they called me and asked me why one of my investigators called animal control. Both women were furious that this call was made. I was happy that one of my investigators took action. This is a case where I was unsuccessful in assisting the clients.

2. The Flashlight Maniac
Another demonic case is when I went to this home in Del Paso Heights, I was greeted at the door by a woman. She brought me into the bedroom where a guy holding a heavy Police Security Blackjack 2AA Flashlight with Tactical LED Ultra Bright power. The guy told me if he turns on his flashlight and pulverizes the wall with his powerful light, a doorway (portal) will open, and demons will come through the portal. I watched this guy for one hour, as he bounces the light off the wall over and over again. He did it so much, that he was pouring down sweat. The portal never opened and then he started getting frustrated and I could see there was anger in his eyes. He started holding the flashlight towards me, in a menacing way. I left immediately and told my investigators, the investigation is over, we have to leave. I felt this guy with this heavy-duty flashlight was a serious threat and that someone may get hurt. I didn’t want to be bludgeoned to death, nor did I want my investigators to face a possible threat like this. I had my investigators vacate the house as quickly as possible and go straight home. Two weeks later, I hear about this very same guy getting into an altercation at a bar and was arrested for hitting a patron over the head with a wine bottle. This was another case in which I was unsuccessful.

3. The Hoarder
The home is in Berkeley. When we arrived, there was garbage everywhere. We had to navigate through tons of garbage. There were narrow walkways through walls of garbage. The couple (an older man and his very young wife) removed the toilet out of the bathroom and because of that, they defecate in the garage. Sometimes, their evening out is to go to a gas station, so they can utilize the gas station’s bathroom. This is another case, where we left early. The place was so disgusting, I didn’t even bless the house. Results: Unsuccessful.

4. The Racist
The case was in Pleasanton, and the client was a non-stop talking racist. We brought along an African American investigator and the client kept making racist remarks and even discussed lynching. Things got so bad with us listening to his racist comments, we had to leave. Results: Unsuccessful.

5. The Feces Slinger
The house is in Sacramento. When we got there, on the living room wall was globs of feces everywhere. The male client had the tendency of throwing his feces on the wall. When we saw that, one of our investigators had to step outside and throw up. We left immediately. Results: Unsuccessful.

6. Batter Up!
At this demonic case in Stockton, CA. The client’s faces started distorting and one of the clients chased me out of the house with a baseball bat. This case I truly believe was demonic, because their faces really did distort into something sinister and evil. Results: Unsuccessful.

7. Satan’s Tattoo.
This case was in Marysville, and the male client had the face of Satan tattooed on his back. One of my investigators (a bay area police officer) captured 3 EVPs in which a male entity was telling her, how he was going to kill her. She freaked out so bad, she left immediately. About 2 weeks later, I went to her house to give her a full submersion baptism (a basic form of exorcism). I also performed a Roman Catholic house blessing on her home. Whatever demonic attachment that she had, left after my baptism. This case I felt was real. Results: Successful.

8. The Shower Crawler
This is another case, where I believe that a real demon possessed our client. On this case, I brought along 4 investigators. The client, a woman in her mid-30s was telling us about the horrible experiences she has had with a demon. When she told her story, her face started distorting, then she started ripping off her clothes. She was yelling that her body was burning up, it was hot. She heads to the bathroom screaming her lungs out. Then she got on the edges of the shower and started climbing up the shower wall. We had to get her down, so she wouldn’t hurt herself. I gave the client a full submersion baptism and did a Roman Catholic house blessing. 5 months later, she contacted me on Facebook and said that my team and I, saved her life. She no longer has a demonic attachment and is now a motivational speaker in Hawaii. Results: Successful.

9. The Bruiser.
This case was in Citrus Heights. A woman in her mid-50s, small, petite became possessed by a demon. She was yelling and screaming and went into convulsions. This woman threw a 6′ 2″ muscular man (her cousin) against the wall. Very intense investigation. Results: I was successful with my full submersion baptism.

These are the demonic cases that I will always remember. Some I was successful with and some I was not. When a person says they have an attachment, they need a full submersion baptism, which is a basic form of exorcism. Even if you think it is a mental issue, still suggest a full submersion baptism. The baptism may just be a placebo effect and in most cases that placebo effect will most likely have a positive effect on the client. I perform a Roman Catholic house blessing using a crucifix and holy water. Most of my house blessings are successful. Whatever way you conduct a house blessing, just do it. It’s important for the client. When doing a demonic case, use extreme caution.
