First off, what is a Tulpa? According to Wikipedia, they describe it as:
In traditions of mysticism and the paranormal inspired by Tibetan Buddhism, a tulpa is a materialized being or thought-form, typically in human shape, that is created through spiritual practice and intense concentration. The term is borrowed from the Tibetan language. Modern practitioners, who call themselves “tulpamancers”, use the term to refer to a type of willed imaginary friend whom practitioners consider sentient and relatively independent. Modern practitioners predominantly consider tulpas a psychological rather than a paranormal phenomenon. The idea became an important belief in theosophy.

The Shadow: A Tulpa Incident
Shadow creator Walter B. Gibson thought so much about his new creation The Shadow, that it actually manifested for his friends and family. Walter became aware of the tulpa, when one of his relatives confronted him and asked who the mysterious man was, dressed all in black, wearing a fedora hat, red scarf over the lower part of his face and had a long nose. Walter was taken back hearing this. Walter explained to his relative that she was describing his creation The Shadow. What happened here is that Walter became so obsessed with his creation, that it actually manifested from his mind.

M.T.R. 2016 Clown Panic
While some people dress up as clowns to scare people, there were many other clowns that simply disappeared. Those clowns are referred by the police as “phantom clowns”. There were times when the police were only a couple of minutes away from a clown sighting and when they arrived at the scene of the clown sighting, the clown was gone, vanished. No trace evidence of a clown being at the sight is found. There weren’t many places where a person in a clown suit could disappear at. Multiple witnesses saw the clown, but when the police arrived, the clown had vanished. There were many incidents of phantom clowns. During the 2016 clown panic, numerous reports involved individuals dressed as clowns who “vanished” or were never caught by police. While hundreds of sightings were reported, many remained unsubstantiated, with individuals often fleeing into wooded areas or dark spaces before authorities arrived. Let it be known that not all of the clowns were “phantom clowns”, some clowns were proven to be real people in clown costumes. These human clowns were actually apprehended or arrested by the police. See below for a better look at the “key aspects” of “phantom clowns”.

Key aspects of the unsolved 2016 clown sightings include:
Vanishing Acts:
Many reports involved clowns who appeared in places like forests or vacant parking lots, only to flee upon being spotted, leaving police unable to find them or make arrests.
Failed Investigations:
Despite police in many states, including South Carolina and North Carolina, investigating reports of clowns trying to lure children into woods, many of these incidents were never confirmed and no culprits were identified.
Phantom Clowns:
Experts referred to many of these incidents as “phantom clown” cases, where the fear was real, but no physical evidence or suspect was ever found. Some parapsychologists theorize that these phantom clowns may have been tulpas.
While some individuals were arrested, particularly after school lockdowns or for making false reports, the vast majority of the “creepy” lurkers were never caught.

Phantom Clowns & Slenderman Sightings – Possible Tulpas?
M.T.R. is a bit like mass hysteria. When one person thinks about something horrifying and mentions it to another person, the mass hysteria starts. In this case, M.T.R. starts. People start seeing sinister clowns all over the place. Sinister clowns were spotted not only in the USA, but seen in Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland and even Russia! It didn’t help that there was a known serial killer named John Wayne Gacy aka the Killer Clown, who would dress up as a clown for kid’s birthday parties, only to learn he killed over 33 little boys and buried them in the crawlspace of his house. All of the horror movie buffs were aware of movies like Terrifier, It, Killer Klowns, Clown in the Cornfield, House of 1000 Corpses. By watching these type of horror movies, the seed is planted that clowns can be terrifying and dangerous. Some people may dwell on this concept, which could create a tulpa that originates from your mind. As a paranormal investigator, I have been contacted by three clients who claim that they have seen the Slender Man. We all know that Slenderman was created via the Internet. In fact, here is the scoop on the creation of Slenderman: “Slender Man was created in June 2009 by Eric Knudsen (under the pseudonym “Victor Surge”) as part of a paranormal-themed Photoshop contest on the Something Awful online forums. Knudsen edited two photos of children to include a tall, thin, faceless figure in a black suit, creating a terrifying “urban legend” through crowdsourced storytelling and online contributions”. There are actual people in our world, that believe that Slenderman is real and may have created a tulpa of Slenderman. Case Example: “On May 31, 2014, two twelve-year-olds lured their friend, who was also twelve, into a wooded area of Davids Park in Waukesha, Wisconsin, where they attempted to murder and sacrifice her to the Slender Man, a fictional supernatural being originating in creepypasta. These two girls may have not seen a Slenderman tulpa, but they definitely believed that Slenderman existed.

Miami Alien Sightings – Possible Tulpas?
M.T.R. may have been involved with the Jan 1, 2024, Bayside Marketplace in Downtown Miami sighting of 8ft to 10ft shadow aliens seen walking around. How interesting that a family witnessed a glowing blue object descend from the night sky and perhaps they thought……”what if aliens were on that glowing blue fireball?” They may have discussed it and to their surprise there was now 8ft to 10ft shadow aliens in their backyard. When the police arrived, they were very interested in this case, because they also saw a fireball descend from the night sky and caught it on their body cam. Since the Las Vegas sighting of aliens occurred in 2023, it may have been on the mind of the kids at the Bayside Marketplace. M.T.R. may have spread through the crowd of young adults and from their minds manifested 8ft to 10ft alien looking tulpas. It’s interesting on how both cases the aliens are 8ft to 10ft and shadowy in appearance.
