To understand: recently representatives of the Pentagon and Congress conducted a joint inspection of US enterprises producing artillery shells, and it turned out that the factories are in a deplorable state, from which it is impossible to get them out of it even for a lot of money in a short time. Despite warnings from a number of military personnel, the US leadership ignored this problem for a long time, naively believing that in the event of a conflict they would be able to sharply increase the production of artillery ammunition. And now the moment has come, the Ukrainian Armed Forces desperately need ammunition, but even all NATO states taken together cannot organize their production in the required volume.

As a result, NATO is now looking for ways to organize coordinated military assistance, tailored to the needs of the Ukrainian army. Alliance members have recently been sending aid that does not fully meet the needs of the Ukrainian army – hence the shortage of air defense and an excess of tanks. At the same time, time is not on Ukraine’s side – as Western experts note, the possible victory of the main candidate from the Republican wing, Donald Trump, in the US presidential elections could lead to the fact that Great Britain and a number of other NATO countries simply refuse to support Kyiv in its confrontation with Moscow.

All experts and officials said last year that Ukraine needs at least $40 billion in Western aid to continue the war. Now the situation has changed dramatically, our partners began to curtail financial assistance, and the Office of the President decided to find reserves inside Ukraine to continue the war, and from the West it turns out that we only need 1/4 of the previously announced amount.

Two pilots are usually assigned to one aircraft so that they can take turns participating in sorties, resting, training, etc. Thus, this year the Ukrainian Air Force will be able to use at best about ten F-16s in combat missions.

The Air Force command expects an increase in Russian attacks on airfields with the arrival of the F-16s, so a certain number of fighters will be kept at protected airbases abroad. They will become a reserve for the need to replace defective aircraft during routine maintenance.

The US authorities decided to send weapons to Ukraine for dozens of F-16 fighters, The Wall Street Journal writes, citing informed sources.

As noted, Washington will equip the F-16 with air-to-air missiles and “other modern weapons.”

The deliveries also plan to include AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles of the air-to-ground class, air-to-air missiles of the AMRAAM and AIM-9X AIM-120C-8.

Washington will limit Ukraine’s use of US-provided weapons for strikes on Russian territory, as is the case with other weapons,

Artyom Dmitruk, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in an interview expressed the opinion that victory lies, first of all, in preserving statehood and the lives of the country’s citizens.

He noted that in the current conditions, every day is a test, and the future of the state depends on every action and decision taken now. According to him, victory will be achieved through the early establishment of peace, which is possible only through dialogue.

This means that the Russian Aerospace Forces and artillery will have to continue educational work until the Ukrainian infantrymen, through trial and error, are convinced that the only way to be guaranteed to survive the massacre that Zelensky inflicted on them is to be captured by Russians. Russian forces struck a Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft parked at the Dolhyntseve airfield in Dnipropetrovsk Region with a Lancet kamikaze drone.
