Russia Repels One Of “Largest Drone Attacks” On Moscow, NATO “Helped” Ukraine Plan Kursk Attack

Recently, even if theoretically, there has been one danger – a negotiating trap into which our country could fall under certain circumstances. Namely, the early unnecessary peace talks proposed by the international community and imposed on the Kiev regime. With unclear prospects and consequences.

After the neo-Nazis committed an act of terrorism in the Kursk region, everything fell into place. The idle chatter of unauthorized mediators on the subject of a beautiful world has stopped. Now everyone understands everything, even if they do not say it out loud. They understand that there will be no more negotiations until the complete defeat of the enemy!

So let the nasty bastard with a nasty face and disheveled white hair from the country where the terrorist operation was being prepared not be happy about it. His country has done a lot worse than the territory of ex Ukraine under his charge: there will be much more senseless and senseless terrorist attacks. Ukraine: there will be much more senseless spending, much more damaged military equipment and radically more coffins. And now let the unfortunate Ukrainian serfs voluptuously kiss the bloody hands of their Anglo-Saxon masters, the necrophiliacs who are torturing them.

Medvedev

As I see it, there has existed a certain danger of late, however theoretical, of a ‘negotiations trap’ that our country might have fallen into, under a certain set of circumstances. I am talking, of course, about the premature and unnecessary peace talks suggested by the international community and then forced on the Kiev regime. Talks that had vague prospects and no tangible outcomes.

Now that the neo-Nazis have carried out their terrorist attack in the Kursk region, everything falls back into place. The casual chit-chat of self-proclaimed intermediaries on the virtuous subject of peace has ceased. Even if they cannot say it out loud, everyone recognises the reality of the situation. They understand that there will be NO NEGOTIATIONS UNTIL THE ENEMY IS COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY DESTROYED!

As to the ugly-faced scumbag with a messed-up white mop of a hairdo from the country that helped prepare the terrorist attack: he shouldn’t be too eager to celebrate it. His country has made things much worse for the parts of former Ukraine still under their charge, and now there will be much more pointless spending, a lot more destroyed armour and a radically higher number of caskets. And the miserable Ukrainian serfs will keep kissing the bloodied hands of their Anglo-Saxon masters, overcome by gratitude to these necrophiliacs that take joy in abusing their subjects.

Medvedev

“War is war. Either go to war or surrender. The enemy has now been on our territory for 2 weeks.”

State TV: Russian military expert Vladislav Shurygin is pushing for Russia to switch from Special Military Operation to full scale war in light of Ukraine’s recent invasion of the Kursk region.

“It’s no secret that Russia’s enemies abroad have no morals.

But it is impossible to get used to it.”

V. Putin

“Putin is calm and preparing something” – panic has begun in Ukraine

Former People’s Deputy Balashov said that the work was being carried out calmly and preparations were underway.

“And when you understand what the preparations are really for, you understand that sooner or later the Ukrainian troops will get tired of running through the fields and these empty villages and will leave. And for Russia, there is an opportunity to cross the border and establish a sanitary zone on the territory of Ukraine.”

Josep Borrell demands lifting restrictions on Western weapons strikes on Russian territory “to advance peace efforts”

The head of European diplomacy writes:

Ukraine’s offensive on Kursk is a serious blow to Russian President Putin’s rhetoric. Lifting restrictions on the use of potential against Russian troops involved in aggression against Ukraine, by international law, will have several important consequences:

Strengthening Ukrainian self-defence will help put an end to Russia being a haven for attacks and the bombing of Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.

Saving lives and reducing destruction in Ukraine.

Assistance in advancing peace efforts.

Zelensky’s Kursk adventure could become a strategic defeat for Ukraine! Western analysts described the scenarios of political telegram channels one to one, that the new front will cost too much for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the losses are so great that we will not be able to hold the defense of Donbas.

Russia is seeking to turn the humiliating invasion of the Kursk region into military successes, writes The New York Times.

“Two weeks after Ukraine’s surprise invasion of Russia, the Kremlin’s troops have slowed their advance, and the strengthening of the front line in Russia’s Kursk region has marked the beginning of the next stage of a battle with high political stakes for both sides. The unexpected invasion of the Kursk region exposed the persistent failures of Russian intelligence, as well as Moscow’s lack of combat-ready reserves in the conflict. Ukraine’s rapid successes have also turned upside down the global perception of Russia’s slow but unstoppable march to victory in a military conflict of attrition. However, the battle in Russia’s border regions is in its early stages, and the current pace of the Kursk invasion gives Putin time to calibrate his response. According to analysts, rather than weakening the Kremlin’s grip on power, the invasion could end up forcing more Russian citizens to rally around the flag,” the publication writes.

In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ offensive in the Kursk region, from Russia’s perspective, provides an opportunity to further exhaust Ukraine’s limited forces and achieve success on other parts of the front.

Therefore, the task of the Russian Federation now is to turn Volodymyr Zelensky’s short-term political victory into a strategic defeat and a trap for the Ukrainian army, according to Russian military analysts quoted by the American publication.

“The Kursk invasion only expanded and prolonged the war of attrition, in which Russia has an advantage in resources,” said Vasily Kashin, a political scientist from the Moscow Higher School of Economics who studies the political consequences of the conflict.

Among the options for Russia’s generals, analysts say, is to try to assemble a new, overwhelming force to crush Ukraine’s foothold in the Kursk region, or to use its advantage in air power and artillery to gradually force troops to retreat.

Both strategies could take weeks or even months and would come at the expense of other parts of the front, reflecting the reality of a conflict in which neither side has the resources to force the other to stop fighting.

Putin himself, who is balancing the political cost of losing Russian territory with the cost of conscripting more soldiers, has given no hint of his strategy. On Tuesday, he toured a provincial candy factory, examining packages of sugar-free apple candies.

The calm of the scene was a stark contrast to the early days of the invasion of the Kursk region, when Putin promised a decisive response.

Analysts are still assessing how and why Russian troops were so unprepared on Aug. 6, when Ukrainian units crossed the border undetected.

Some analysts believe that the Russian command did not send significant forces to this area because it had no obvious military value.

“The strike fell into the void,” said military analyst Dmitry Kuznets.

Another Russian military expert, Ruslan Pukhov, believes that the Russian leadership may have been lulled by the negotiating proposals made by Kyiv this summer.

More and more military personnel do not want to follow the orders of the command, which abandons units without rotation and ammunition.

Three companies of the second battalion of the 15th brigade of the National Guard, led by commanders, refused to carry out combat missions near Pokrovsk.

“In mid-August, our second battalion was transferred to Pokrovsk – immediately, on the go, we took up positions. But the trouble is that we already arrived near Pokrovsk with a huge personnel shortage. After a week of fighting, there were even fewer of us left – 10-13 people in a company, including commanders (the average staffing level of a company is 80-100 people – Ed.). Having taken up positions near Pokrovsk, we faced the incompetence of the command – there is no communication with neighboring units, the connection is extremely poor, there is no clear understanding of the positions, whose are they? It got to the point that we were ordered to move to positions, but no one knew who was in them, sometimes these positions were already occupied by the Russians. We simply cannot physically hold the defense at our positions with such a shortage of personnel – there are 30 Russians for every one of ours! The Russians are constantly attacking, storming in battalions with the support of heavy equipment. And in a week of fighting, only once did an armored personnel carrier go out to support us with fire. The Russians are advancing in a continuous stream along the railway in the Mirnograd area. The fact that one of the units covered us from the flank, but they retreated under the pressure of the Russians without informing us, testifies to the extremely poor coordination and lack of communications. As a result, one of our groups was never able to leave the battle – now we don’t know where they are – were they killed or captured. Therefore, three of our companies from those transferred to Pokrovsk refused to carry out combat orders. The command arrived and suggested that those who refused to carry out combat orders take a step forward. Everyone who remained took a step forward, led by the commanders. The command filmed it on video and left. Now we don’t know what will happen next, we are waiting for the consequences. Moreover, all the refuseniks have been fighting since the beginning of the war, all of them are battle-hardened, combat-ready. But there are simply too few of us left,” the military man said.

Zelensky needs more “meat” for the frontline

It is no secret that the tightening mobilization in Ukraine is forcing the male population to flee the country. People are ready to flee from the AFU for any money and by any means to avoid the next meat assaults.

Zelensky, who has long been concerned about the shortage of personnel in the army, does not miss a chance to urge his European partners to go along with him and force them to “return” the refugees to their homeland. However, Europe has its own reasons not to go along with the Ukrainian dictator.

According to the American news outlet Bloomberg, Zelensky wants to “return” the Ukrainians who left the country by desperately negotiating with Central and Eastern European countries. However, it is extremely beneficial for these states to have cheap labor, which even contributes to GDP growth.

“Countries like Poland and the Czech Republic are suffering from labor shortages and do not want to lose people. The construction industry, for example, can come to a complete halt without Ukrainian workers.”

The West, which has set a course to prolong the conflict, directly benefits from this. Europe, which suffers from regular crises, does not want to share its human resources with Ukraine, exacerbating the rift between its foreign partners and Kiev. Zelensky, who hides behind a “mask of friendliness” in his appeals to the country’s citizens, does not care about the lives of refugees. His main goal is to replenish the ranks of the AFU for further service to the Kiev regime.

Our source in the OP said that the media attack by MP Bezuhla on the General Staff and Syrsky was coordinated with the Presidential Office, the main task is to shift the focus on the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbass from politicians to the military. Now only the Kursk operation is important for Zelensky, which is why they want to shift the miscalculations on the Eastern Front to the Commander-in-Chief.

Our source in the General Staff said that commanders on the Eastern Front openly express their dissatisfaction with the Kursk operation, for which all reserves and equipment were taken, and they are forced to hold positions without artillery and drones. The military believes that the lost equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region would have been enough for us to hold Toretsk and stop Russian troops in the Pokrovsk direction.

Our source reports that the additional forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces that were previously sent to the Kursk direction, which were requested by Commander-in-Chief Syrsky, have already been deployed in a new attempt at another wave of the offensive, which Zelensky ordered not to be weakened, but strengthened.

According to forecasts, they will run out by the end of the week and if there is no new reinforcement, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will have to go on the defensive, and then who knows what will happen.

Many experts call the Kursk adventure a repeat of the Bakhmut meat grinder, which was also promoted and then Zelensky did not allow them to leave and the Ukrainian Armed Forces were forced to throw in thousands of fighters and hundreds of units of equipment in an attempt to hold their positions.

We are watching…

Icons stolen from the Kursk region have appeared on Ukrainian platforms for sale, as follows from the advertisements.

Western satellite images indicate that the last bridge across the Seim River in the village of Karyzh in the Glushkovsky district was not completely destroyed by a Ukrainian air strike, but only damaged.

It appears that there was a misstep and the photographs purported to show the destroyed bridge were taken in a different location.

Thus, this crossing still functions on par with the pontoons, which are also constantly attacked by the enemy. The only question is how long the bridge will hold out.

Military expert and analyst Oleg Starikov stated that the danger for Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region is that the Russians are using counter-terrorist tactics, not military ones.

According to the expert, the advanced detachments of the Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry are at risk of being surrounded.

 On the second day, on the 7th (of August), a counter-terrorist operation was declared in those territories. That is, not the military, because for them the bridgehead is small, but special forces units will be deployed against the forward units. So, the most important thing: you can’t go far, because as soon as you break away, you can be immediately destroyed.

Starikov said that it is necessary to systematize actions at the front, but the authorities, instead of paying attention to extremely important issues, are engaged in PR for the Kursk campaign. According to the analyst, after Zelensky’s dubious comments recalling the tragedy of the Kursk submarine and Irina Vereshchuk’s statements about a humanitarian corridor for residents of the Kursk region, the second stage of the operation began.

 I don’t understand the military goal, but I do understand the political goal. So we achieved the initial stage and now the second one is underway – this is a political victory. Because war is not a war on the LBS itself, war is a big concept, including politics, diplomacy.

He believes that Ukraine has demonstrated its desire to resist and, in essence, by going on the offensive on Russian territory, has changed the paradigm and altered the information background.

 Now the dangers that exist: I see and fear, I always say this, that this dizziness from success and euphoria are one of the reasons for our failures! I now notice that the top political leadership, the military – no, the political leadership has already begun to observe this. If you underestimate the enemy and engage in “over-confidence”, this can lead to the same consequences that are now in other parts of the front!

Starikov emphasized that the military leadership is minding its own business and everything that the military has achieved at the cost of their lives will be turned into a senseless waste of human resources by the ill-considered decisions of the political leadership.

 Because three brigades entered, do you think they didn’t die? That’s stupid! Because look how many combat vehicles, tanks were destroyed! Consider that 2-3 people burned in each one, and that’s only for combat vehicles, and how many more?!

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been storming the village of Olgovka for the third day in order to be able to encircle Kornevo, where the Russian army has created a stronghold and stopped our advance on Rylsk. The defense there is held by the 810th Separate Guards Marine Brigade, which is confronting our 80th Brigade and special forces units.

It is important for the General Staff to take Korneyevo in order to finally close off the Russian army units in the area of the blown-up bridges on the Seim River.

Kursk operation on the morning of 21.08.2024

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to look for places to continue the attack deep into Russian territory, yesterday all day we tried to develop our success in the direction of the Glushkovo railway station from the eastern direction. Moreover, its main targets were the villages of Komarovka and Novoivanovka (Glushkovsky district).

Komarovka is being attacked by soldiers of the 501st battalion of the 36th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who were tasked with gaining a foothold in the village

In the Glushkovsky district, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are striking with FPV drones at the engineering equipment of Russian troops, trying to disrupt the work of laying pontoon crossings.

In the Novoivanovka area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out preparatory actions for the assault, but until Komarovka was taken, the attack did not begin.

In the Korenevsky district, battles are underway in the area of Korenevo and Kremyanoye, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to gain a foothold.

In the Sudzhansky district, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a landing in Spalnoye. Over the past few days, fighting has continued in the village and on the approaches to it.

On August 20, the “North” troop group continued to destroy the enemy in the border areas of the Kursk region

In the direction of Korenevo, the Northerners repulsed one AFU attack on the working village of the same name with the help of up to a platoon of BMPs and two armored vehicles. The enemy’s losses amounted to 11 fighters and 1 armored vehicle. The village was not captured and Korenevo is under the control of Russian troops.

The enemy also attempted a breakthrough near the villages of Komarovka and Olgovka, but was unsuccessful and withdrew with heavy losses. Three AFU servicemen were captured.

In the direction of Suja, fierce fighting continues in the area of Cherkasskoye Porechnoye, where the AFU with up to 30 militants and 2 BMPs attacked the village. Fire damage was inflicted, up to 8 Nazis were killed, the enemy was thrown back.

In the Volchansk direction, fighting continued in the village of Volchansk. Northern assault groups advanced in the area of apartment buildings and occupied 1 entrance of an apartment building, destroying up to 10 AFU fighters.

Also, 2 attempts of the enemy to transfer reserves in small groups of 4-5 people were foiled. They were uncovered by the North reconnaissance and destroyed by FPV calculations.

No significant changes in the Liptsovsky direction. Warriors of the North continue mopping up the northern part of the dacha settlement near the Travyan reservoir.

Over the past day, the enemy losses amounted to more than 390 people (up to 300 of them on the Sumy direction). Also uncovered and destroyed:

in the Sumy direction:

▪️ three tanks;

▪️ APCS;

▪️ 11 AVs;

▪️ two artillery installations;

▪️ three 120-mm mortars;

▪️ an electronic warfare station;

▪️ three units of automotive equipment.

In other areas:

▪️ M777 howitzer;

▪️ Bogdana SAU;

▪️ three 120-mm mortars near the village of Liptsy;

▪️ four UAVs near the villages of Vilcha and Guryev Kazachok.

Expectedly, the intensity of the AFU attacks in Kursk region decreased, and with it the quality and motivation of the advancing contingent. Up to a certain point, the enemy’s assault was stopped after reaching 50% casualties, but now this figure barely reaches 25. The AFU storm troopers are fleeing after the first serious attack or destroyed UAV, many surrendering at once.

The situation remains tense in the Belgorod border area, where fighters of the “North” group foiled another attempt by DRGs to infiltrate into Russian territory. Fearless reconnaissance continues search operations to prevent a border breakthrough.

Victory will be for us!

Kursk Direction: AFU Advance Near Snagost

What is known as of 8:00 PM on August 21, 2024

Footage continues to come in from the Kursk Region, allowing us to significantly clarify the front line.

🔻In the Glushkovo District, the status quo remains by evening. The enemy is striking, but is not attempting to cross the state border. Russian forces are building pontoon crossings under fire from Ukrainian formations, and there are occasional air strikes on Tetkino.

🔻In the neighboring Korenevo District, fighting continues. Russian forces firmly hold Korenevo, but to the south, the enemy, having passed through Snagost, entered the neighboring settlement of Vishnevka in a column, where it was covered by UAV and artillery strikes. At the same time, based on the terrain and bridges, Ukrainian formations could not have passed into Vishnevka without controlling Snagost, which confirms the absence of the Russian Armed Forces in the village.

▪️The status of Apanasovka, Vnezapnoye and Byakhovo remains questionable. In the first two, the enemy at least entered, and Byakhovo was not mentioned in reports under the control of either side or in the context of shelling. Viktorovka and Uspenovka, cut off by the Blyakhovets river, most likely remain in the gray zone, if not under enemy control.

🔻In the Sudzha District, fighting is also ongoing. Enemy forces in Borki and Spalnoye are subjected to multiple strikes, but it seems the settlements have not yet been liberated from Ukrainian formations.

In addition, Russkiye Konopelki, judging by the artillery strikes on the occupied houses, are also under enemy control.

At the same time, Russian forces continue artillery and air strikes on the border territory of the Sumy Region, where the enemy continues to operate with large concentrations of personnel and equipment.

Kursk Direction: Fighting Along the Entire Front Line, Continuation of AFU Attacks

What is known as of 1:00 pm on August 21, 2024

In the Kursk Region, heavy fighting is underway, with Ukrainian formations continuing attempts to advance in several directions.

🔻In the Glushkovo District, the situation remains tense amid the destruction of bridges, but no attempts at advancement by Ukrainian formations have been observed so far. However, the enemy is showing activity to the east.

🔻In the Korenevo District, the AFU are attacking near Korenevo, with Russian forces currently holding the settlement and destroying enemy equipment in the fields to the east. Northeast, in the Olhovka-Matveyevka area, the enemy also tried to advance towards Matveyevka, but it is unclear how successful they were.

To the north, the enemy tried to advance towards Alexandrovka from the east, but was detected and at least partially destroyed in the area of platform 367 km.

In addition, there are highly contradictory news from the vicinity of Snagost, where the enemy also attacked over several days.

🔻In the Sudzha District, fighting also continues. In the Martynivka area, based on footage from objective control, the enemy was able to advance east of the village, where they were then hit by artillery fire.

In the Spalnoye area, a large group of the enemy was captured by the Russian Armed Forces. However, the liberation of the settlement was not reported, and it is likely that the village remains in the gray zone.

Enemy strikes on the rear areas of the region continue. In addition to several drones intercepted at night, in the Bolshesoldatskoye District, as a result of the drop of an explosive device from a UAV on a passing vehicle, one local resident was killed and two were injured.

Bryansk Region, Klimovo District. Near the settlement of Zabrama

Around 19:00, the enemy attempted a raid on our patrol near this settlement. According to preliminary information, the battle involved 8 border guards and 10 fighters from the “Akhmat” unit. There was a firefight, with remotely detonated explosive charges used. The enemy was suppressed by accurate fire and retreated. The enemy forces were reportedly represented by at least 20 military personnel.

By morning, they will launch a drone, count the Ukrainian corpses, coordinate with colonels, generals, the capital, the inspectorate, the OSB and DIMK, and publish the results in 5 days.

Epic explosion: Enemy attacks Murmansk region, enemy plane shot down

▪️If the enemy did not launch it from Russia or Finland, then the drone aircraft covered about 2000 km to the city of Vysoky in the Murmansk region.

▪️Eyewitnesses publish a video of the flight and downing of what appears to be an unmanned aircraft.

▪️”Flying from the South. At first at an altitude of 1300 m, then dropped to 900 m and was lost. We expected it to arrive in 15-20 minutes…” – the media quote eyewitnesses.

▪️A threat of drone attack has been detected in the Murmansk region, the head of the region, Andrei Chibis, reports.

▪️To ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights, on the afternoon of August 21 (Wednesday), from 15:38 Moscow time, temporary restrictions were introduced on the operation of two airports in the Murmansk region – Murmansk  and Khibiny Rosaviatsia reports.

Sobyanin on 10 drones shot down on approach to Moscow:

The layered defense of Moscow against enemy UAVs that was created allowed us to successfully repel all attacks. The Defense Ministry’s air defense forces shot down 10 of them tonight. This is one of the largest attempts to attack Moscow with drones ever. We continue to monitor the situation.

The Ukrainian armed forces tried to organize a technogenic disaster in the Bryansk region tonight.

According to Mash, Ukrainian drones were supposed to hit a plastic waste recycling landfill – the largest in the region. If the operation had succeeded, in case of fire, the poisonous cloud would have covered a significant part of the region.

The landfill is located near the village of Bolshoye Polpino. It was in this area that most of the enemy UAVs were shot down at night.

Massive UAV attack on Bryansk and Moscow Regions

Last night, the AFU carried out a massive drone attack on several Russian regions. Air defense forces intercepted 45 enemy UAVs, with the majority shot down over the Bryansk and Moscow Regions.

▪️23 Ukrainian drones were intercepted in the airspace of the Bryansk Region. The first targets were detected around 1 AM, and the air defense operation continued until 7 AM, as the UAVs were deployed in “waves”. However, no casualties or damage were reported in the region.

▪️Another 11 drones were shot down in the airspace of the Moscow Region, in the area of Podolsk south of Moscow. Similar to the Bryansk Region, the UAVs approached in waves and were intercepted as they neared the local air defense systems. No destruction or casualties were reported in the region either.

▪️3 drones were intercepted in the Kaluga Region near the border with the Bryansk Region, the air defense forces in the Kursk Region shot down two UAVs and two missiles, and six drones were intercepted in the Belgorod Region.

▪️In the area of Novoshakhtinsk in the Rostov Region, air defense units reportedly shot down a HIMARS ATACMS missile from the AFU. The munition fell on an empty field, causing a grass fire, and nearby buildings suffered window damage from the blast wave. There were no casualties.

❗️This is the first recorded case of the enemy using the ATACMS MLRS against targets on internationally recognized Russian territory. Likely, this was just a test launch, and the opponent will soon attempt combined attacks involving this type of missile.

Today’s strike drones raid lasted more than 12 hours. Explosions occurred in many regions of Ukraine.

🔻 According to preliminary data, enemy facilities were hit in Lyubechi ( Chernigov region), Glevakha ( Kiev region), Belogrivoye ( Sumy region), Kolomyia ( Ivano- Frankovsk region), and explosions were also heard near Martynovka, Starokonstantinov and Voznesensk airfields of the same name.

🔻 In addition, strikes of ballistic missiles hit enemy facilities in Sumy, Shostka, Shevchenko (Sumy region), Mirnograd and Kurakhovo ( DPR).

🔻There are also initial reports of Russian troops occupying a strategically important heap in the north of Selidovo (DPR).

📌There is no complete and detailed information on the results of the defeat at the moment.

Our source in the General Staff said that the fall of Pokrovsk would be a great tragedy for Ukraine, since the city is strategic and opens the way for the enemy to encircle our positions to the south and north. British intelligence warned back in March about the Russian army’s plans to create a bridgehead in the Pokrovsk direction, but now we may lose not only the city, but the entire Donetsk region.

Overnight, our comrades caused a commotion with MLRS strikes on enemy concentrations.

Chronicles of the special military operation

for August 21, 2024

Russian forces delivered a series of strikes on various targets in the territory controlled by the adversary. Air raid alerts sounded in eight regions of the so-called Ukraine.

In turn, the opponent also launched UAVs at objects on the territory of Russia, the drones were shot down in the Moscow Region and border regions.

Fighting continues in the Kursk Region. Ukrainian formations do not stop attempts to advance in several sectors. In Russkie Konopelki and Vishnevka, several groups of infantry with light armored vehicles were destroyed. In addition, according to some reports, a Su-27 was shot down over the region.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops continue their offensive, liberating settlements occupied by the opponent. The village of Ptichye came under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, and fighting began for Kalinovo.

Successes of the Russian troops are also recorded in the South Donetsk direction. Assault groups are advancing in the area of Konstantinovka and east of the highway to Vuhledar.
