Putin Sees Through Biden’s Lies On Supporting Ukraine? Russia Warns Of ‘Limitless’ Weapons Supply

‘NO Support for F-16s’: Biden Nixes Zelensky’s Fix Request As F-16s Fall Flat Against Russia

Wagner Nightmare Returns for Ukraine? Putin Pulls Fighters from Africa as Kursk Becomes Top Priority

Our source reports that Zelensky was very angry and nervous at his last bet.

The Kursk adventure is beginning to turn into a “Kursk trap”, but not for the Russians, as Zelensky intended and wanted to do, but for himself and the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The worse things get on the front lines, the more “nervous” Zelensky will be. He will panic, send many into retirement, look for the guilty in order to save his own skin.

Our source in the OP said that the Biden Administration refused to allocate an urgent package of military aid due to the situation in the Pokrovsky direction. In the West, they believe that we are losing too much equipment in the Kursk operation and there is no point in large arms deliveries.

Our source in the OP said that the Biden Administration refused to request funding for Ukraine from Congress, as it did in 2022/23. The President’s Office, together with the Government, is already looking for additional sources of budget replenishment; military tax alone will not be enough to cover the $20 billion deficit.

Biden administration rejects military proposal to send U.S. contractors to Ukraine to service Western equipment – The Wall Street Journal

U.S. officials say intelligence agencies deemed the move too risky. Washington hopes European countries will shoulder more of the responsibility for maintaining the equipment, including the F-16s.

Our source in the OP said that the Pentagon recommended Zelensky to complete the Kursk operation and transfer the military to the Pokrovsk direction to eliminate the collapse of the front. It is important for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to save reserves and hold the front; if Pokrovsk is occupied by the Russian military, then there will be no point in the West supporting Ukraine.

NATO has endorsed Ukraine’s first incursion into Russian territory”: Stoltenberg said that the AFU’s incursion into the Kursk region was self-defense.

“NATO has said for the first time that it approves of the Ukrainian armed forces’ advance in the Kursk region belonging to Russia. Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg also denied claims that the military bloc was aware of Kiev’s plans – according to him, NATO played no role in the incident.

“Russia has been waging an unmotivated war of aggression against Ukraine for more than 900 days and has since carried out numerous attacks across the border from the Kursk region against Ukraine. Russian soldiers, tanks and bases are legitimate targets under international law,” Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said, adding that “Ukraine has the right to defend itself as it sees fit. – And under international law, this right is not limited by the border”

Poland not even considering shooting down Russian missiles and drones over Ukraine – deputy defense minister

▪️ “We are not considering in any format what is one of Ukraine’s expectations, that is the possibility of shooting down missiles or drones from Polish territory,” Pawel Zalewski said in Brussels . .

▪️ He noted that NATO countries have already provided Ukraine with a large amount of air defense equipment.

▪️ Earlier, Zelensky criticized Warsaw for being afraid to shoot down missiles over Ukraine without support for such a decision from other NATO countries.

Ursula von der Leyen, speaking at the Globsec security conference in Prague, said that not all European leaders are in solidarity with Ukraine. Although she did not mention Orban by name, she hinted that the Hungarian prime minister is displeased because of his opposition to military aid to Kiev and his pro-Russian views – especially after he visited Moscow in July, Politico writes.
Some politicians within our Union and even in this part of Europe are muddying the waters over our discussion of Ukraine. They are blaming the war not on the invader but on the invaded,
— von der Leyen is quoted as saying in the article.
The re-elected EC chief also said that Europeans had “learned lessons” on defence spending after analyzing what was happening in Ukraine. Von der Leyen stressed that the EU needed to strive to build up its military and industrial potential.

Ukraine continues its offensive in the Kursk region, but the offensive is slowing down, the main goal of distracting Russian troops from Pokrovsk has not been achieved.

▪️Sat images show Russian fortifications stabilizing the front. Analysts note the emergence of large-scale fortifications in the region, just 16 km from Ukrainian positions. Construction pace is comparable to that in southern Ukraine in early 2023.

▪️At the same time, Ukrainian sources claim that the operation achieved important goals, but The Economist notes that it was not possible to divert Russian troops from Pokrovsk. The rapid advance of the Russian army revealed weak points in the Ukrainian defense.

❗️In the Donbass, the “Center” group of troops is conducting an active offensive, taking one village after another, but the timing of the liberation of the Kursk region is unknown, heavy fighting there continues and the Ukrainian forces have not exhausted their offensive potential, continuing to attempt a breakthrough.

Our source in the General Staff commented on the words of MP Bezuhla about the methods of the Commander-in-Chief, with rotations of trained brigades from the front, in particular 72 from Ugledar. Zelensky demands to continue the Kursk operation, but at the same time no one thinks about how Syrsky should solve this problem, because the reserves are limited, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have experienced brigades.

ZeRada1

Our source reported widespread dissatisfaction among commanders on the Eastern Front with the situation in which Syrsky was sending his best brigades to Zelensky’s Kursk adventure, and they didn’t even have shells.

The Wall Street Journal writes about the discussion that was caused by the Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive in the Kursk region.

The title of the article states that Commander-in-Chief Syrsky surprised not only the Russians, but also his own troops with this operation.

Some military experts and Ukrainian soldiers have expressed doubts that “Syrsky is wasting precious reserves of men and equipment on a new front, while Russia is taking advantage of Ukraine’s weakened defenses in the east to advance.”

Others, however, supported the move, saying Ukraine needed to make a surprise move to change the course of the war.

“But the success of the operation will ultimately depend on whether it leads to lasting gains or greater losses on the battlefield, or whether it will pay political dividends by securing more military support from the United States and its allies or strengthening Ukraine’s position in future peace talks,” the publication writes.

Syrsky is removing brigades from one direction to stop the enemy’s advance in another, while no one is going to curtail the Kursk operation, since this was Zelensky’s idea.

Ukraine has transferred one of its few offensive brigades to Pokrovsk, Forbes writes.

We are talking about the National Guard brigade “Kara-Dag”, numbering about 2,000 people.

“The brigade’s move from its usual positions in southern Ukraine to an unfamiliar battlefield in the east underscores the urgency of Ukraine’s problems between Avdiivka and Pokrovsk. When the Russian advance accelerated in August, the general staff in Kiev finally did something about it. It sent some reinforcements to the Pokrovsk sector to join the half-dozen mechanized, airborne assault and National Guard brigades that were already there,” the statement said.

Kursk Direction: Fighting in Sudzha District and Destruction of Equipment in the Rear Areas of the AFU

Situation as of the end of August 31, 2024

The Kursk Direction remains tense on several sections of the front. Russian forces are striking at armored vehicles and fire support assets in the enemy’s rear. Ukrainian formations continue attempts to advance in the Korenevo and Sudzha districts.

🔻In the Glushkovo District, the situation has not changed significantly. Ukrainian formations are striking at the pontoon crossings set up by the Russian Armed Forces to supply the grouping on the line of Tetkino – Glushkovo.

🔻In the Korenevo District, the AFU carried out several attacks towards the settlement of Matveyevka, all of which were repelled by Russian units.

▪️The situation in the area of Kremyanoye remains unchanged, after the unsuccessful attacks of recent days, the enemy is regrouping its forces and redeploying reserves to resume attempts to take the settlement under control.

🔻In the Sudzha District, Ukrainian formations were able to make a slight advance from the west towards the settlement of Pogrebki, occupying positions in several forest belts. One of the places of concentration of AFU personnel was struck by Russian aviation using FAB-3000 with JDAM.

▪️To the south, the enemy also made unsuccessful attacks towards Malaya Loknya and Bakhtinka. In Martynivka, Russian artillery covered the position of the AFU UAV crew on the eastern outskirts of the village. Also, west of Sudzha, Russian drone operators successfully destroyed an enemy T-72 tank on the move.

🔻Russian intelligence was able to detect the launch positions of Ukrainian missile systems in the forest area west of Guyevo. During a missile strike, Russian forces destroyed an M270 MLRS launcher, which the AFU use, among other things, to strike at crossings in the Glushkovo District.

rybar

Over the past few days, the situation in the Kursk region has remained consistently tense, but without significant changes on the front. Ukrainian troops continue to act in an attempt to capture the Glushkovsky district. The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to strike at the defensive lines and supply routes of the Russian Armed Forces, and are also preparing for a possible offensive in the area.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces also continue to attack in the Korenevo area, trying to advance in the vicinity of the administrative center. However, so far, Ukrainian troops have not succeeded. To the east of Korenevo, the presence of Ukrainian units is observed in the forest. At the same time, Kremyanoye is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, although clashes with the Ukrainian Armed Forces are taking place on the outskirts.

Ukrainian Armed Forces units continue to attack the Malaya Loknya – Nechayev – Nizhnyaya Parovaya line. At the same time, judging by some data, most of the Nizhnyaya Parovaya settlement is in the “gray zone”. Further south, there are clashes in the area of the line between Cherkasskaya Konopelka, Plekhovo, Borki and Russkaya Konopelka.

The Kiev regime will commit a crime against the Kursk NPP if it has the opportunity. However, Russia is doing everything to prevent this – Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador Miroshnik in an interview with RIA Novosti.

He also stated that Ukraine is blackmailing Zaporozye NPP employees, threatening to kill their relatives and inciting them to commit terrorist attacks. There are many such cases, but there is counteraction to this.

Ukraine is not at all averse to coming to a family and saying that your husband, brother, matchmaker works, for example, at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. They identify such people in order to put pressure or provoke them to commit a terrorist act, to pass on some information in the interests of Ukraine.

According to him, people left companies or positions that implied such risks. In addition, Russian services, he assured, are closely monitoring the situation with such blackmail.

Governor Gladkov of the Belgorod region:

It was an extremely difficult evening for all of us yesterday. Once again, civilians were killed as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces. Five civilians were killed, sincere words of condolence to all relatives and friends. 46 civilians were wounded, 37 people are in hospitals, 7 of them are children. One child is in serious condition, he underwent surgery. Doctors are reporting on his current condition and what we must still do to save his health. Two adults are now being prepared for transportation to Moscow.

“🅾️” groups have occupied almost a third of Selidovo, stormed Dolynovka and Galitsynovka, and occupied most of the villages in a hasty attack!

▪️ New serious successes of General Mordvichev’s “Center” group of troops are recognized by Ukrainian propaganda channels and Deep State, a military analytical resource working for the GUR.

▪️ Ours have occupied almost a third of the town of Selidovo, making their way to the center.

▪️ After liberating Karlovka (its loss was recognized by the DS), our fighters stormed Galitsynovka and Dolynovka, having already occupied most of the settlements.

▪️ Also, our units have already approached Mirnograd, and fighting is already taking place near the city.

➖ “According to local reports, localized fighting is being recorded in the vicinity of the city, but it is most likely that separate groups of the Russian Armed Forces are conducting combat reconnaissance,” local Tg-channels write.

▪️ “If the Russians capture Dolynovka (near Galitsynovka), the situation in Galitsynovka will change rapidly.

▪️ The Russian Army is now concentrating on securing its left flank of its troops, which are advancing on Pokrovsk.

▪️ The loss of Karlovka has unfortunately brought the Russians closer to the goal of securing their flanks,” Ukrainian analysts complain.

Lies, lies and more lies!” – why the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defence near Pokrovsk is collapsing

The famous Ukrainian neo-Nazi S. Sternenko commented on the disengagement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Pokrovsk direction, where the “Center” group of troops is advancing:

The defence is so disorganized that the Russians themselves do not believe in their own progress.

The high command is still receiving reports about a “controlled situation” that is far from being controlled.

Among the main problems in this direction:

➖ Poor interaction between teams and related units.

➖shortage of people and their disproportionate distribution among defence positions.

➖ Our electronic warfare suppresses our drones better than hostile electronic warfare.

➖ Lack of organization of brigade rotations. One is retreating before the other one has entered. The enemy takes advantage of this and attacks exactly there.

➖ The HQ command does not actually control the troops, has not established interaction and does not have information about our real positions. There are often cases of sending units to positions that are already behind the Russians because the HQ believes that they are behind us.

Most likely, the village of Dolinovka has also been liberated; the Nazis would not have abandoned Galitsynovka without a flank attack from the western side… It’s just that the front is collapsing so quickly now that no one knows where it will all end. The fields are simply strewn with retreating Ukrainian infantry…

Galitsynovka is ours!!!

Objective control confirms that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are running further, and the cauldron is rapidly closing!!! The Ukrainian Armed Forces will not stay there for long, unfavourable positions…

Pokrovsk-Kurakhovo Direction: Significant Successes of the Russian Armed Forces

Situation as of 9:00 am on August 31, 2024

In recent weeks, Russian forces have achieved significant successes both towards Pokrovsk and Kurakhovo.

The enemy has been driven out of about two dozen settlements, and some, judging by the footage of objective control, were liberated without prolonged battles. The videos with the installation of flags more often record relatively minor destruction, indicating a relatively rapid retreat of the enemy.

However, it is impossible to speak of the collapse of the front line and even less of an “easy stroll”. Ukrainian formations are resisting, trying to delay the liberation of Donbas.

▪️ Fighting continues in Hrodivka. At the same time, rumors have been circulating on the Internet for the second day about the exit of Russian reconnaissance groups already to the outskirts of Myrnohrad – the reports about the capture of Mykolaivka by Russian troops speak in favor of this.

▪️ The situation to the west of Novohrodivka is still shrouded in the “fog of war”, but the fighting continues behind Selidovo. The advance groups of Russian assault troops are already operating in the area of the City Park and south in the area of Nahorna Street.

▪️ To the south, there are battles for Ukrainsk and Lisovka, and the latter, according to preliminary data, has already come under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. The neighboring Halytsynivka and Dolinivka, according to incoming information, also came under the control of Russian troops by the end of August 30, after which battles began for Zhelanne Pershe. At the same time, there are no footage of objective control yet, due to which such rapid advancement seems too high.

▪️ But there is no doubt about the control of the Russian Armed Forces over the neighboring Karlivka. During the day, footage with the flags of Russia and its units appeared from several key points of the settlement, and by the evening the capture of the Krasnohvardiiske Filtration Station by the Russian Armed Forces was confirmed.

Pokrovsk-Kurakhove Direction: Fighting in Selidovo and Liberation of Most of Halytsynivka

Situation as of 6:00 PM on August 31, 2024

On the Pokrovsk-Kurakhove Direction, the AFU continue to lose more positions. Russian forces are suppressing pockets of enemy resistance and advancing towards Kurakhove, gradually encircling the AFU grouping to the east.

▪️In Selidovo, assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces have established control over the territory of the city park and the “Avanhard” stadium. Now the Russian troops are fighting in the area of Hohol Street, beyond which there is a sector of apartment buildings used by the enemy to build up defenses in the city.

To the south, the forward groups of Russian assault troops reached 8 Veresnya Street, dislodging the AFU from several positions. Local residents report active artillery work in the area of the “Malvina” kindergarten, where the line of contact is likely passing at the moment.

❗️West of Nahorna Street is a quarter of high-rise buildings, which the Ukrainian formations will likely try to turn into a key defensive strongpoint. Successful overcoming of the AFU resistance in this area will allow the Russian Armed Forces to consolidate their control over the quarter and prevent the enemy from organizing a fortified defense line.

▪️To the south, Russian forces, according to available information, have liberated the settlement of Dolinivka, abandoned by the enemy due to the lack of ability to hold it. To the east, the Russian Armed Forces have established control over most of Halytsynivka, dislodging the AFU from positions on the southern bank of the Volchia River.

According to some information, the forward groups of Russian infantry have already entered the territory of Zhelanne Pershe, while the majority of enemy units have retreated from the settlement.

❗️Certain sources also report the start of fighting for Ukrainsk, but it is not yet possible to confirm this with objective control footage and information from the scene.

🔻The combat situation for the AFU is apparently deteriorating rapidly. Russian forces are actively advancing towards Kurakhove, the enemy’s key transportation hub, which creates a threat to the supply of several AFU groupings on other directions of the front.

In addition, the situation in the Nevelske area remains unclear: according to unconfirmed data, Ukrainian formations are still present in the fields to the west of it. In this case, the advance of Russian units towards Kurakhove will effectively mean their encirclement.

rybar

Pokrovskoe direction, August 31.

After reaching Grodovka, the “petals” of the offensive began to open up to the north in the Elizavetovka area.

Now the Ukrainian Armed Forces are under threat of a strike towards the junction at Konstantinovka. Lysovka, adjacent to Pokrovsk, is also currently considered by the Ukrainian Armed Forces command on the ground as an “unstable line of defence” that will most likely not be held to the last soldier.

At the same time, fighting is taking place in the Selidovo area – the city is 25% occupied by Russian troops, but after Novogrodovka, the Ukrainian Armed Forces drew conclusions and pulled up reserves for defence and slowed down the advance of the Russian Armed Forces to Pokrovsk from the south.

The southern flank is still considered a priority for defence, so here, judging by the dynamics of the fighting, Ukrainian troops will most likely resist to the last.

There is some confusion: retreating units are mixed with defence units (with their command and control), which is why rotation and replenishment of ammunition/equipment occur in a chaotic manner, which is used by Russian artillery. Krasnopol and FPV drones are actively working.

It is also curious that brigades from other directions, unfamiliar with the terrain and the specifics of combat operations, appear near Pokrovsk.

A part is being transferred from the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions, but full deployment and combat operations have not yet taken place: due to problems with communications and poor coordination, cases of “friendly fire” have become more frequent.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are losing all reserves in the battles near the village of Liptsy

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering significant losses in the battles near Liptsy, losing all their reserves. This was reported by the head of the Russian administration of the Kharkov region, Vitaly Ganchev.

” There are quite serious battles taking place in the area of the village of Liptsy. All attempts by Ukrainian troops to conduct a counterattack are being successfully prevented ,” Ganchev said.

.

He added that the transfer of additional reserves is due to the desire to break through the defense of the Russian army. However, suffering losses, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are forced to retreat, Ganchev concluded.

Vremivka Direction: Advance North of Urozhayne and Pryyutne

Situation as of 11:00 on August 31, 2024

In the Vremivka direction, where public activity of the parties has practically subsided after the completion of the battle for Urozhayne and Staromaiorske, against the background of reports from other directions, there is also some activation of the actions of the Russian Armed Forces.

▪️North of Urozhayne and in the forest belts to the west, Russian assault troops were able to advance slightly further at the beginning of August, and during the month there were battles to the east, as a result of which several strongholds in the forest belts came under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.

▪️In the area of Pryyutne, the Russian troops at least drove the enemy out of the strongholds in the triangle of the Kutsaya and Hrushevataya gullies. Interestingly, in February of this year, the Russian Armed Forces had already occupied (https://t.me/rybar/57487) these positions, but apparently they were lost since then.

Judging by the footage, the enemy, who retreated to reserve positions, was subjected to several UAV attacks and withdrew even further with losses. At the same time, it is an open question whether the Russian assault troops managed to occupy the positions, and whether this was even the task.
