Yoram Hazony is right.

Israel is like the turd in the MAGA punchbowl.

The president’s border czar promised to “make Chicago safe again” using federal troops. President Donald Trump’s budget director celebrated the dismantling of “the woke, weaponized administrative state,” like a Government Accountability Office that “shouldn’t exist.” The head of the civil rights division at Trump’s Justice Department told a dinner crowd that her office, once “the last bastion of the left,” was now a battering ram against “woke extremists” in universities and blue states.

I’m sick of “Trump” and “Israel” dominating my newsfeed.

I can feel my productivity and interest in politics sliding off a cliff. It has taken a nosedive over the summer. It never recovered from the Iran strike and has waned over the last month.

As I have said in recent interviews, the Trump administration is doing good things in a lot of areas. The border is relatively secure. Trade deficits are being addressed. There is an ongoing federal crackdown on black crime. Anti-white discrimination has been scaled back in a lot of ways.

Every single day though that I log on though to check the news “Jews” and “Israel” are dominating the conversation whether it is pagans bashing Christianity for being Jewish or Nick Fuentes has said this or that or the Trump administration is planning to do Gaz-a-Lago for Israel or Netanyahu has said you can’t be MAGA and anti-Israel. I would rather just tune out and work on my house or yard.

I’m not sure who else feels this way. I think the Trump administration has been successful in some ways like on the border, but it has been hijacked by MIGA and Israel and their maximalist demands. At the same time, I don’t see any alternative to it. The whole thing has been spoiled and is unsatisfying.
