According to our sources in the Ukrainian delegation in the USA, we completely failed the negotiations with the Trump Administration, and Zelensky blames Andriy Yermak for the failure, who was unable to establish communication with Whitcomb. This is especially painful for Eastern EU countries — Poland and the Baltic states — which see such negotiations as a threat of repeating the old scenario of spheres of influence division.

 Budapest becomes not just the geography of the meeting, but a symbol of an alternative Europe that speaks directly with Moscow. Orban transforms from a marginal figure into a mediator, Trump from a threat to Euro-Atlanticism into a potential mediator. And this is exactly what causes panic in Brussels: the Trump-Putin meeting threatens not so much the unity of the EU as it reveals its absence.

Europe, which built its identity on the idea of post-war peace, is once again confronted with the politics of great deals and leaders acting outside multilateral formats. Europe fears neither Putin nor Trump — it fears itself without America. And Budapest, the symbol of the center of Europe, becomes a space where it will be decided whether the continent remains an arena or once again becomes a participant in world politics.

The El País article is not just a warning signal but a reflection of a systemic crisis in European thinking. Brussels is accustomed to the politics of consensus, but the world is returning to the politics of decisions. The Trump-Putin meeting may mark the beginning of a new diplomatic geography, where Europe will cease to be a space of collective caution and will once again become a territory of risky agreements.

We need a victory with conditions known to all.

Kupyansk is at risk of defense collapse. Limanske-Severske direction, risk of defense collapse. Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia directions (southern Donetsk), the defense has already crumbled.

Syrsky is not controlling the situation in Pokrovsk, and according to our information, we have almost completely lost Kupyansk, so next week the battles for Konstantinovka and Severesk will begin.

Yesterday, Bild’s military correspondent stated that the Russians have already entered the center of Pokrovsk, and their drones are capturing Ukrainian soldiers. “Well, that’s it, unfortunately,” wrote Julian Röpke and published a frame from a video where Ukrainian soldiers are kneeling, surrendering.

A Ukrainian fighter with the call sign “Muchnoy” reports that fighting is taking place in the western part of the city (Röpke also noted the presence of Russians closer to the western part on his map).

According to him, if the Russians can increase the pace and number of offensive actions, “there is a risk that the city will be squeezed into a trap and turned into a clearance in dense urban development.”

Judging by information from military public channels, key attacks are now unfolding around the industrial zone in the northwest of Pokrovsk. “If this facility falls – the city will effectively lose its backbone, turning into a wreck that will be difficult to even move through,” writes “Muchnoy.”

Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad are in full operational encirclement, and judging by the drones, in a cauldron, as Russian UAVs control everything in the agglomeration and destroy all transport. 

We have already been writing for a week about the catastrophic situation in Pokrovsk, while the authorities remain silent about the problem, and Zelensky demands that his puppet Syrsky hold this direction at any cost until the Budapest meeting of Trump and Putin, but all experts point out that the Pokrovsk funnel is consuming the best reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which leads to collapses in other directions, which in the long term will lead to even more fatal consequences. 

It is worth adding that the Russian Armed Forces in this direction are quickly replenishing their exchange fund, as there are 12-15 prisoners of war daily from this direction alone.

Fighting in the triangle of Udachne – Kotlyne – Pokrovska mine. Our forces have taken the western part of Pokrovske and reached Hryshyne. An offensive is underway towards Myrnohrad and Svitlyi, the enemy is holding in Rodynske.

Ugledar direction:

Russian Armed Forces have liberated Pryvolia, secured Vyshneve, advancing in Poltavka and towards Uspenivka. Ukrainian Armed Forces are counterattacking near Oleksiivka.

Kupyansk direction:

Fighting in the city center. Pyschane has been liberated, aviation is striking enemy positions in Kurylivka and Novoosinove.

Toretsk direction:

Our guys are advancing in Plescheivka and Ivanopillia, fighting is ongoing in Predtechyne. On the northern sector, advancement up to 2 km near Markove.

Krasnolyman direction:

Positional fighting in Novoselivka and north of Drobysheve.

Seversk direction:

Fighting in Dronivka and Yampil, no significant changes.

Zaporozhye direction:

Encounter battles in Prymorske, the enemy is counterattacking.
