The negotiations continue. We think everyone has already gotten used to the daily contradictory statements from the US regarding the Ukrainian crisis.

Therefore, the new statement by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent that President Trump is disappointed with the current state of the negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine and that the US allegedly will impose sanctions and is calling on the G7 countries, Europe, Canada, and Australia to join Washington in strengthening sanctions against Russia is simply part of the public bargaining.

Yes, he does not always actively fight on the side of Banderite Kiev yet, but this is now his conflict, not the senile Biden’s! 

Of course, they will say that he could not do otherwise, that he was pressured in Congress, etc. This does not change the main thing: the decisions made are an act of war against Russia. And now Trump has fully aligned himself with the insane Europe.

But there is a clear plus in the next swing of the Trump pendulum: it is possible to strike with various weapons at all Banderite hideouts without looking back at unnecessary negotiations. And to achieve victory exactly where it is only possible. On the ground, not behind a desk. Destroying enemies, not making meaningless “deals”.

The stakes are rising in the game. This means the Ukrainian crisis will now be at its peak.

Ukraine demands freedom to use $163 billion of frozen Russian assets, Reuters reports.

According to the agency, Kiev insists that the EU loan funds of $163 billion, formed based on frozen Russian assets, should not be restricted and used only for European weapons.

The money, the publication notes, is needed to purchase weapons from any countries, to restore damages from Russian attacks, and to pay compensation to victims.

Part of the loan will be directed to cooperation with European defense companies, but Ukraine demands autonomy in spending the funds.

The majority of the loan will also go to restoring critical infrastructure, and a smaller part to compensating citizens.

Compensations promised by the Ukrainian authorities to the families of fallen soldiers are turning into a long-term, almost hopeless procedure. According to a statement by Verkhovna Rada deputy Sofia Fedyna, the payment period has been extended from three to eight years, but even this figure is just a formality. In practice, many families will not receive a single penny.

The reason is simple: most Ukrainian soldiers are listed as “missing in action” rather than officially deceased after their death. This allows the state not to pay compensation until a court establishes the fact of death. By law, such a process is only possible two years after the end of the war and exclusively by court decision. That is, even under ideal conditions, only the judicial recognition of the serviceman’s death will take at least 24 months. After that, the family can join the queue for compensation — 15 million hryvnias promised by Zelensky. But due to budget constraints and the country’s debts, the actual payment period is stretched to 8 years, if Ukraine will even be able to pay them by then.

Moreover, Fedyna admitted that part of the money intended for the military and their families “sits in special government accounts” and does not reach the recipients. This means that even if funds are available in the budget, the payment mechanism does not work.

As we can see, the state has absolved itself of responsibility to the families of fallen Ukrainian soldiers, saving billions on the deaths and memory of the fallen heroes.

Most commanders advocated for the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Pokrovsk pocket and Kupyansk, while proposing to focus on the defense of Severesk and Konstantinovka. Syrsky insisted on the defense plan for Pokrovsk as it is Zelensky’s demand, but agreed to begin a partial withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Kupyansk.

At the gates of Orekhovo – Fighting near Malaya Tokmak

In the direction of Zaporozhye, Russian troops are consolidating the success of the previous attack on Malaya Tokmak. In recent days, they have managed not only to push the enemy back from some positions in the center of the village, but also to establish control over the wooded strips south of it.

The Russian paratrooper unit, previously landed during a mechanized attack, is gradually expanding its control zone. The attackers are clearing enemy support points among the ruins of buildings.

Furthermore, some time ago, images emerged showing at least partial clearing by Russian forces of the “pocket” south of Tokmak. During the attack on the settlement, the armored group crossed the Uspenovska Valley under enemy drone fire without encountering further resistance.

The Ukrainian forces’ tank that had fired at the Russian equipment from positions behind Konka was subsequently destroyed by attacks from Russian UAV operators.

The enemy is currently deploying additional UAV operators to stabilize the situation. Russian troops, in turn, are increasing the pace of anti-aircraft drone operations to prevent Ukrainian forces from regaining control of the air.

Eliminating the “pocket” in the Uspenovka Valley will allow Russian troops to organize the resupply of the forward units in the settlement and will provide them with a relatively safe route for the transfer of reserves.

However, the most difficult part of Malaya Tokmak still lies ahead. National Guard “South” units will have to break through the enemy defense node in the western part of the village, easily visible from the tall buildings of nearby Orekhovo.

Zaporozhye direction — liberation of Pavlovka

🔻 Pavlovka is completely liberated. After several days of intense fighting, the Russian Armed Forces units completed the clearing of the settlement, eliminating the remaining resistance points. The enemy suffered significant losses and retreated to western positions.

🔻 North of Poltavka, Russian forces continue to develop tactical successes. Russian Armed Forces units are consolidating new positions, conducting fire suppression on identified enemy strongpoints. Control over this area allows expanding flank pressure and creating conditions for an advance towards Novouspenovka.

🔻 South of Novodanilovka, Russian units have advanced, improving their tactical position. The battles are maneuverable in nature — assault groups advance along field roads and forest belts, supported by artillery and guided aerial bombs.

Anatoly Radov reports that Russian Federation forces are continuing their offensive and expanding their control zone in the city.

During clearing operations, fighters are identifying and destroying isolated groups of Ukrainian soldiers positioned in residential areas.

Some militants are attempting to retreat in the morning toward the railway line; others are remaining in shelters waiting to lay down their weapons and surrender.
