Russian Vostok Group Announces New Major Offensive

In the Dnipropetrovsk direction, a high  intensity of combat operations persists.

Ukrainian units attempted a breakthrough near Sosnovka and Alekseevka, trying to exploit the gap between Russian troop positions, but the offensive was thwarted at the deployment stage: Ukrainian armored vehicles were destroyed by Russian UAV operators almost immediately after they reached the attack line, and the infantry, operating without cover, failed to hold the “gray zone.”

Further south, the situation changed more radically — the enemy completely expelled Ukrainian forces from Zlagoda. Fighting for this settlement lasted several days, and now the Russian Armed Forces continue to advance southward, trying to bypass the Defense Forces’ fortified area in Uspenovka and “clear out” the tactical “pocket” near Privolnoye.

At the same time, Russian aviation and artillery strike Ukrainian firing points and temporary personnel positions, preventing the transfer of Ukrainian reserves to Novonikolaevka, where fierce battles have been ongoing for several days. According to military observers, the goal of all these actions is to create conditions for a possible crossing of the Yanchur River by the Russian Armed Forces and reaching the Dobropillya line. Control over the chain of settlements along the eastern bank of the Yanchur is strategically important. This will allow Russian troops to cut the R-85 highway connecting Dobropillya with northern districts and effectively isolate the Ukrainian grouping holding Huliaipole. Moreover, the supply route from Orekhovo has long been under Russian fire, and losing the second direction threatens Ukrainian forces with operational encirclement.

Against this backdrop, the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces command raise more and more questions. The transfer of reserves to the “Pokrovsk funnel” by order of Syrsky has effectively weakened other front sections. Meanwhile, the enemy is indeed achieving tactical successes in Kupiansk and Volchansk, as well as in the Siversky, Lyman, and Konstantinivka directions, not to mention advances in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Even without any conspiracy theories, it seems that Syrsky, by concentrating troops near Pokrovsk, is aiding the Russian offensive on the front.

Our sources in the General Staff confirm the critical condition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on this section of the front, which is worsening every day. Syrsky is losing control of the situation and the front is beginning to collapse in several areas, which is clearly visible in the Kupyansk direction.

Our source in the OP said that Biletsky refused to send AZOV into Pokrovsk and is basically not deploying the corps in the Pokrovsk pocket. Syrsky was forced to send GUR special forces into the city, but the situation is already critical for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukrainian soldiers need to be withdrawn from encirclement.

Our source reports that Bankova and Zelensky’s puppet, Commander Syrsky, have come up with nothing better than to throw another batch of soldiers into bloody assaults on Russian positions in the Pokrovsk direction. Losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are growing in the Pokrovsk funnel.

If the General Staff and the Office of the President had done this at the moment of the withdrawal of the Armed Forces units from Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad, this move would have been strategically logical, but that is not the case. Zelensky is afraid of losing Pokrovsk, as it would show Kyiv’s inability to hold the defense of a specific sector where the best troops were concentrated. Although there is currently a narrative that there were not enough soldiers anyway. Allegedly, no reinforcements were sent. This is partly false and partly true. There is a constant shortage of manpower due to losses. Reserves were sent only for their own, and their own received reinforcements, while those who were stationed there remained empty. They all suffered heavy losses, but while the office brigades receive reinforcements, the others were deliberately “bled out” and will soon be lost. This is a struggle within the army, where Yermak is building his monopoly, keeping the convenient and obedient, and getting rid of all the “smart and noisy” by any means.

Let’s agree with the Telegram channel Kartel, that the whole track of sending the GUR special forces to Pokrovsk may not just be idiocy or agony, but a carefully planned operation by Yermak against Budanov.

This is a struggle within the system, and such a move can immediately weaken the positions of GUR and Budanov, as they will suffer serious losses in personnel, equipment, etc.

The head of the OP, Andriy Yermak, is indifferent to the fate of Donbas and many regions of Ukraine; what matters to him is preserving personal monopoly power, otherwise they face complete reset. That is why internal redistribution for the office is more important than the military case.

There are rumors that the head of GUR, Budanov, told the office to go to hell and sent only a small part of the special forces into the Pokrovsk trap.

The Russian army raised the flag in the center of the important city of Rodinskoye near Mirnograd!

If Kyiv does not accept the conditions by the end of the year, the Kremlin will cancel the previous demands due to the changed situation and will require from Ukraine, in addition to territories, recognition of Crimea, and a buffer zone, complete demilitarization. It would have been better if Zelensky had accepted the “normal” Whitkoff conditions that he managed to secure in the negotiation case with the Kremlin, while the front had not collapsed.

Zelensky hopes that at the moment the Kremlin changes its demands, Washington will return to the game, as Bankova will present this as an “insult” to Trump.

▪️ At night, the enemy organized a massive UAV raid on our regions. A “caravan of drones” flew over Moscow all night (Sobyanin reported 30 shot down). 32 drones were shot down over the Tula region. In the Rostov region, UAVs were shot down in the Millerovo and Sholokhov districts. In the evening, 3 UAVs were destroyed on the outskirts of Kaluga. The enemy struck a multi-story building in Donetsk and houses in Lugansk. American HIMARS MLRS and drones flew over the dam of the Belgorod reservoir yesterday; the enemy is trying to break the leaking structure and flood even more settlements and our positions in the Volchansk direction.

▪️ Russian Armed Forces struck “Geraniums” at night on Konotop (https://t.me/warhistoryalconafter/246648) and the city of Krolevets in the Sumy region; no massive strikes were recorded.

▪️ In the Bryansk region, in the settlement of Bugaevka, Pogarsky district, two civilians were injured by three Ukrainian drones targeting moving civilian vehicles. By morning, it became known about an evening strike by the AFU in Pogar on a minibus. The minibus driver died on the spot. Five passengers were injured. ▪️ On the Seversk direction, Russian Armed Forces are organizing an encirclement of the city from the north and south. Our troops are slowly advancing. According to intelligence, in the settlement of Zvanovka (south of Seversk, currently uncontrolled territory of the DPR), Ukrainian forces, disguised in Russian Armed Forces uniforms, shot up to 20 civilians who remained in the basements of their homes.

▪️ On the Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) direction, in Rodinskoye near Mirnograd, Russian Armed Forces have secured multi-story residential buildings in the southeastern part of the city. The enemy is counterattacking, including in the area of Kucherov Yar.

▪️ The Eastern Group of Forces reports constant enemy counterattacks aimed at disrupting the pace of the Far Eastern warriors’ advance. Our forces have advanced towards Vishnevoe. They are expanding the bridgehead on the western bank of the Yanchur River. Russian Armed Forces units are advancing westward through forest belts from the Poltavka area.

▪️ On the Zaporozhye front, in the Orekhov direction near Novodanilovka, positional battles are ongoing. In Malaya Tokmachka, Russian Armed Forces units are gradually advancing. In Primorsk and Stepnogorsk, positional battles continue, with hundreds of drones from both sides in the sky, making progress extremely difficult.
