The situation on the Pokrovsk direction remains one of the most tense on the entire front. Russian troops continue to methodically push through the Ukrainian defense, consolidating their positions within the boundaries of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad and advancing in the cities. Essentially, this is no longer about local battles but about the gradual destruction of the last major Ukrainian stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas.

According to data from LBS, Russian units are gradually occupying the eastern and central quarters of Pokrovsk, using tactics of small assault groups and massive air strikes. The dense fog that has lingered in recent days played into the hands of the attackers: reconnaissance drones and artillery adjustment on both sides were limited, allowing the Russian assault groups to advance without heavy losses.

At the same time, the situation in Myrnohrad remains extremely difficult: most of the city has effectively turned into a “gray zone” – a series of neighborhoods and industrial areas where the positions of the sides are mixed. Russian forces are advancing from several directions, and Ukrainian units, according to reports, are suffering heavy losses due to isolation – their supply has been practically cut off after a series of targeted air strikes on logistics routes. Footage of mass surrender of Ukrainian fighters on the western outskirts of the city has already appeared online.

Fierce clashes continue on the eastern flank near Shakhove. Russian assault groups have managed to secure the western part of the village, previously considered a “neutral zone.” Meanwhile, in the central sector, the Defense Forces launched a series of counterattacks around Rodynske, trying to regain lost ground. Using the weather conditions and thick fog, they conducted a tank raid on the southern outskirts of the city but failed to hold the position – Rodynske remains under enemy control.

Further south, in the area of Zolote Kolodez, maneuvering battles continue: the contact lines are constantly changing, and the front represents a fragmented space where the sides hold separate groves and buildings.

Meanwhile, the Russian Armed Forces have raised flags over Hnatovka, adjacent to Pokrovsk. This creates prerequisites for further advancement deeper into the agglomeration and reaching the western outskirts of the city.

In fact, the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on this section of the front is collapsing. Despite local counterattacks, Ukrainian forces are experiencing a serious personnel shortage and a lack of ammunition. And if Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad are captured, the front in the central part of Donbas will collapse (the next losses on the list will be Sloviansk and Kramatorsk: they no longer have rail connections, and without logistics – no supplies, no reinforcements, and no rotations), and the road to Dnipropetrovsk region, where Syrskyi did not even try to build a defense, will be open.

One of the outcomes of the operation to liberate Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) and Mirnograd (Dimitrov), which is in full swing, can already be announced regardless of the time of capture and complete clearing of the agglomeration, which is inevitable like the onset of winter.

Russian assault pairs/trios/fives infiltrated (seeped, soaked, penetrated) into the urban area of the agglomeration (primarily into Pokrovsk through industrial zones and private sectors) and terrorized the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison. Strongpoints in high-rise buildings pinned down FPV and harassing fire, directed aviation and artillery, flanked, leaving “for dessert.” Pokrovsk was divided into sectors, advancing quarter by quarter with assault groups along parallel streets with mutual support, which allowed avoiding “bags” and ambushes. The enemy was ready to fight and did fight, but was not prepared to fight in chaos without connection to the “mainland” for more than a week without ammo, water, food, rotation, or evacuation. The enemy faltered.

In conditions of a “layered cake,” war of all against all, absence of rear and flanks, the defense of the cities lost order and discipline, was disorganized and fell. Russian special forces groups organized friendly fire among Ukrainian units, as a result of which units of the “Azov” National Guard corps, commanded by Prokopenko who surrendered in Mariupol (not to be confused with the 3rd separate assault brigade “Azov” of Biletsky (now also a corps))—all “Azov” Nazis are outlawed—suffered losses. “Offended” by such losses, the “Azov” National Guard refused to enter the agglomeration (well done!), which made our task easier. Also, in recent days, Marine Corps units of the Ukrainian Navy (17 killed) and groups of the 25th airborne brigade came under fire from their own while exiting Pokrovsk . The showy tactical landings by the GUR from helicopters, arranged by the narcissist Budanov in early November, were a dead loss—no results: some groups were “unraveled,” and the corridors created 250-500 m northwest of Pokrovsk towards Grishino were of little use—they were thoroughly shot through by the Russians. Fewer and fewer wanted to exit through corridors under fire, and more and more wanted to surrender. Enemy counterattacks in the “8th group” area yielded little. The house repelled today (“forester’s hut”), for which many killed and wounded occurred in Ukrainian counterattacks, was retaken by us tomorrow. Counterattacks lost their meaning. Taking advantage of the RUSSIAN FOG that pinned down the Ukrainian “small aviation” here, we introduced new forces into the city, while the enemy cowered in basements, freezing and suffering shortages. The enemy had no initiative, and this became the key to the results of the battles for Pokrovsk.

A completely new tactic applied by the Russians, operating in the streets and industrial zone without tanks and armored vehicles but supported by FAB with UMPK, FPV, adjusting artillery and MLRS fire, allowed pushing the demoralized enemy out of Pokrovsk. The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ presence in the city, as well as in neighboring Mirnograd (Dimitrov), lost all meaning given the encirclement of the agglomeration by the Russian Armed Forces and their active advance at the junction of Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The operation to unblock the agglomeration from the north (from Dobropillia eastward), announced by Syrsky, effectively stalled. The Dobropillia salient was cut off by the enemy but they failed to achieve more, bogged down in the defense of Donetsk infantry.

The capture of Pokrovsk and Mirnograd while maintaining momentum (and if we wipe the Ukrainian forces’ nose around Dobropollye) will allow us to encircle the Ukrainian fortified area in Kostiantynovka from the west-southwest and reach the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration from another direction.

But that is if God wills!

Western war observers believe that Russian forces will not storm Guliaipole head-on. According to one version, they may bypass the Ukrainian fortified areas from the north and, making a small detour, move further west. This will give a chance to break through the main line of fortifications in the Guliaipole area and deliver a cutting strike towards Zaporozhye.

Considering that the highly effective Russian “Vostok” group operates in this area, such a maneuver will open an approach to Pavlograd from another, now southern, flank. This is a serious threat to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In the worst case, there may be a partial loss of the southern section of the front, up to a rollback of a significant part of the left bank of the Dnepropetrovsk region. When and to what extent this will happen is not yet clear, but if it does, the strategic consequences will be serious.

▪️ At night, a UAV flying towards Moscow was shot down. 9 Ukrainian Armed Forces drones were shot down before midnight over the Bryansk, Rostov, Kursk, and Oryol regions. Later, enemy drones were destroyed in the Rostov region in Donetsk, Novoshakhtinsk, and Kamensky district. Footage of a blaze in Budyonnovsk in the Stavropol Territory, where the Stavrolen chemical plant is located, is circulating online; the governor reported extinguishing a fire in the industrial zone. Two Ukrainian drones were shot down in the sky over the Tula region. Yesterday, the Orsknefteorgsintez refinery in the Orenburg region was attacked, injuring one person.

▪️ Russian Armed Forces attacked enemy targets in the Odessa and Vinnitsa regions, explosions were heard in Pavlograd and Petropavlivka in the Dnepropetrovsk region, and Bohuslav in the Kiev region. In the Odessa region, strikes on port infrastructure were reported.

▪️ On the Sumy direction, the Northern Group of Forces continues offensive actions; the enemy is restoring the combat capability of assault units, strengthening defensive positions, and restoring logistics. Our artillery struck AFU in the Ryzhevka area on the Tetkinsky and Glushkovsky sectors.
