USA Today’s Grace Hauck recently reported on a “recently discovered” mass grave site where the remains of 215 physically and sexually abused native children were found, claiming that up to 6,000 had died.  “I first learned of the mass graves of children in Kamloops twenty-three years ago from an eyewitness who had helped bury them. His name was Jessie Jules. Jessie was a frightened man. He had been warned by his own native band council in Kamloops not to speak about what he knew. They told me I’d get thrown out of my home on the reserve if I ever mentioned the dead kids” Jessie said on record to our panel of Tribunal judges. But despite this threat he spoke anyway.

“Jessie told us how his fellow Kamloops students were starved to death in underground chambers at the school and forced to sleep with children dying of tuberculosis after they tried running away. He named Catholic priests like Brother Murphy who sodomized kids with cattle prods and beat a boy named Arnold to death with a club. Jessie saw another priest push a young girl named Patricia out a window to her death. He even drew us a map of where he buried children at night at the order of the priests.

“There were lots of those little bodies” he said. “We ran out of room in the ground, so they started burning them in the school furnace. It was kept going 24-7. They even chucked in there the babies from the girls they’d got pregnant, to get rid of the evidence. I saw the nuns do it.”

“The Kamloops center was a particular house of horrors, even by residential school standards, which is why such an effort has been made by the guilty to hide their atrocities. For many years it was an experimental center where particularly rebellious Indian children were sent for “special treatment”, including involuntary drug testing, sexual sterilizations, and pain threshold studies to see how much torture the mind and body can endure.

“Generations of experimental vaccines were tried out on Indian children at Kamloops by drug companies like Pfizer, Bayer, and Eli Lilly with the help of the Catholic church and the government. Most of the little test subjects died.

 “After our Tribunal had catalogued these grisly crimes, in mid-June of 1998, we shared with the world the evidence, including Jessie’s account and that of twenty-eight other survivors with similar stories.

“We included Indian school records from Kamloops and across the country showing a huge death rate of over fifty percent that spanned decades, and evidence that disease was routinely and deliberately spread among children by the staff, and letters confirming the sexual sterilization of native children by church doctors that was funded by the Canadian government.

“Over the years that followed some of us did not give up. Judy Note: Although the state of Ohio has released Kaitlynn from foster care prison because she has turned 18, they still will not allow her to return to her home because of a restraining order on her mother​ Jeannine.

The below is a request filed in court by Kaitlynn Hunter asking for removal of the Protective Order that prevents her from going home.

I, Kaitlynn Marie Hunter, swear under pains and penalties of perjury that the following is true:

I, Kaitlynn Marie Hunter, am 18 years old born on December 12, 2007. Today is Saturday the 17th of January the year is 2026.

I was taken from my mother Jeannine Larrick, illegally on February 11th 2019. I spent some of my most crucial developmental years away from my mother and away from any safety.

I ran away from a group home in Dayton [OH] sometime in November of 2024 after Thanksgiving. I wasn’t safe physically away from harm and I was mentally destroyed. I was going to take my life on Thanksgiving that year but just as I was going to use the knife, the staff walked in and I dropped it. I decided then I wasn’t going to live that way anymore; one way or another I wasn’t staying. And so I left.

The months I was gone were the most peaceful months of my life. I wasn’t in any danger, and if I was, I would’ve willingly came back; nobody held me anywhere while I was on the run.

I was held in [State Custody] care unwillingly since I was 11 years old. I was in danger coming back to the system that was supposed to protect me.

I need my family. My grandmother is in the hospital [grandmother Betty Larrick passed away at 2:37 a.m. on January 18, 2026, after 33 days at Ohio Health Grant hospital ] and I’ve already missed so many years; she is dying.

My mother and I need to be there for her. Therefore, I demand an Emergency Removal of Protective Order for my mental well-being, and to be there for my family. This is Not a Request.

This is a human right. This is morals.

Sadly, Grandma Betty was hospitalized for a broken hip and died 1-18-26. Grandma Betty had been praying and believing for a med bed. She died a result of medical errors, denial of baseline meds and gross neglect after a 33 day stay in an Ohio Health hospital.

Kaitlynn deserves to be with her mother and family, and not estranged by unconstitutional tyrannical abuse of power. Funeral arrangements are in progress.

We need these agents to dismiss this frivolous case and allow us freedom to be a family again, sadly without grandma. Kaitlynn needs to come home, be safe, learn how to drive, go to a prom and graduate her senior year. Her current living situation is unsafe and less than what a mother wants for her beautiful daughter.
