The corruption scandal in energy and defense did not lead to any changes

in power–none of the top corruptors were imprisoned, which is well understood in society. Even in Russia, there are real imprisonments of former deputies of the defense minister, governors, and top officials.

Sociology shows that Ukrainians do not believe Zelenksy’s statements and consider him responsible for total corruption.

Corruption is perceived by Ukrainians as the biggest threat to the country, and in terms of negative impact, it even outperforms Russian shelling. This is evidenced by the results of a nationwide survey conducted by the international research company Ipsos from November 14 to 28, 2025, which were published by the Interfax-Ukraine agency.

According to the study, 81% of citizens consider corruption a factor that most negatively affects the situation in Ukraine. In second place are Russian shellings, the harmful impact of which was reported by 63% of respondents.

Next in the list of public concerns are mobilization (52%) and poverty (48%). Another 14% of respondents named other factors that, in their opinion, negatively affect the state of the country.

The survey also recorded a difficult financial situation for a significant part of the population. 7% of Ukrainians admitted that their income is not enough even for food. Another 17% can buy food, but paying utility bills is a serious problem for them. 24% of respondents said they can cover the costs of food and utilities, but buying clothes is difficult for them. Another similar share, 24%, said they can afford to buy clothes, food, and utilities and can afford small household appliances.

At the same time, 19% of respondents said they can buy the necessary household appliances, but buying a car is not affordable for them. Only 6% can afford a car, but do not have the means for housing, and only 3% of Ukrainians said they can buy their own housing.

Evaluating the general course of the state, 24% of survey participants believe that Ukraine is moving in the right direction. At the same time, 47% are convinced that the country is developing incorrectly, and the rest of the respondents could not decide.

A separate block of the study concerned the sources of information from which Ukrainians most often learn the news. The absolute leader was Telegram – 62% of respondents named it the main source of news and information. The highest rates of Telegram use were recorded among young people: 87% of those aged 25-34 and 84% among 18-24-year-olds. However, among people aged 65+, this figure is only 30%.

In general, the results of the study show: corruption remains a key internal problem for Ukrainians, the financial situation of a significant part of the population is vulnerable, and Telegram has finally established itself as the main channel for obtaining news, especially among younger age groups.

Colleagues, the TCC are not just enemies of the people, they are perceived in society as the regime’s policemen, and the attempt to blame everything on the hostile IPSO confirms the lack of understanding of the processes.
