Also, a three-kilometer section – the beach of the Seversky Donets river – has been taken under control. From the Sosnovoe railway station, the northern encirclement of Svyatogorsk is being tightened, indicating the beginning of the formation of a tactical pocket around the populated area. 

At the same time, all crossings of the Seversky Donets in this area are confidently being taken out by Russian FAB-500T and X-38ML missiles. This means that the logistics of the 115th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are in question, but the assault on Svyatogorsk is close. A significant threat to the units of the Western Military District, advancing from the area of the Sosnovoe railway station, is posed by the “balcony” of the 66th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the FPV drone crews operating in it, which is located on the side of Alexandrovka. There will be a lot of work to do here. 

Another difficult moment: on the southern bank of the Seversky Donets, 2 km from Svyatogorsk, the enemy controls the dominant heights (more than 180 m) from the side of the Svyatogorsk Holy Dormition Lavra. Partially offsetting these advantages could be the dominance of the Russian Armed Forces in the number of FPV drones and reconnaissance UAVs used.
