Did Jesus literally go to Hell so He could be resurrected by God on The Third Day to give you A FREE CHOICE of John 3:16?  PART 2 OF 4

Also, unlike any other deity, OUR GOD knew that we were not capable of redeeming ourselves from our sins, the bondage of Satan’s slavery, and the spiritual death, though we were responsible for that to happen and now found ourselves trapped.

Jesus told His disciples in John 6:63-64 – “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

⁶⁴ But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.”

 

All unlike any other deity, God wants you to have His nature, according to 2 Peter 1 :1-4 - “Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

² Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

³ According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

⁴ Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

Therefore, OUR GOD was willing to send His Son Jesus to come and take our place, take our sins upon Himself, suffer, allow His Body to be broken, allow His Blood to be shed, surrender His own life on the cross in the hands of His Father and die. He remained sinless but took our sins upon Himself. Knowingly, that His Spirit and Soul would go to Hell after His death where the spirits and souls of all unrighteous had been going and suffer additional period of torment and suffering in the hands of the demonic ‘Principalities and Powers’. He was willing to be the ‘Lamb of God’ instead of lambs and goats and took our place and obeyed the will of the Father who had given Him the promise that God would resurrect Him on The Third Day. OUR GOD kept His promise and raised Him in Hell on the Third Day.

After His resurrection by God on the Third Day, He took the Keys of Death and Hell from Satan, which Satan had stolen from Adam and Eve through deception.

After Jesus was resurrected in Hell, He appeared to Mary Magdalene first at the tomb because she had come to the tomb early in the dark. Jesus asked her not to hold Him because He had yet not been with the Father.

According to the prophet Isaiah, Jesus will be taking His blood to the Father in heaven and sprinkled His blood on the throne to satisfy the will of the Father to completely payoff in full our redemption from sin.

Once Jesus satisfied the will of the Father, He then went to the Old Paradise (Abraham’s bosom) in the Under World to preach the Gospel to the captives. That is where the Spirits and Souls of the righteous went there until then. Jesus then preached The Gospel to the captives and set the captive free so that their Spirits and Souls could leave the Old Paradise in the Under World and go to the New Paradise in the Third Heaven to live there until God tells Jesus when to return again to the Earth to complete the next phase of destroying Satan.

 

Since then, the Old Paradise in The Under World has been empty forever. Since the resurrection of Jesus, all Born Again believers’ Spirits and Souls go directly to the New Paradise in The Third Heaven, and everyone else’s Spirits and Souls continue to go to Hell in the Under World.

Many other events took place in the Spirit realm on Earth after Jesus set the captives free to confirm and demonstrate that He had been given all Power and Authority and to be The High Priest of His Church. Now we do not need anyone else other than Jesus, The Holy Spirit and The Word of God to be Born Again and serve God.

Then Jesus appeared to the brethren in the Upper Room to confirm to them His resurrection. Then Jesus taught them that they need to remain in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit comes to Empower them to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and do even greater works than Jesus did. Jesus taught them later that The Holy Spirit will come and dwell in them and he will be their teacher and comforter and say and do what He hears from Jesus. The Holy Spirit will not glorify Himself but rather Jesus. John chapters 14 and 16 provide the full details.

Jesus completely established His Church on Earth and after promising He would return again, He arose through the clouds to go to The Father and be seated next to Him on His THRONE. The Born-Again believers are the real living Church of Jesus Christ and not the beautiful cathedrals and buildings and are now also seated with Jesus on the Throne:

Matthew 16:16-19 - “And they said, some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

(It is our belief that Jesus did not mean to say He will build His Church based on Peter but rather the revelation truth, ‘the rock’ – the unshakeable truth, the foundation word Peter spoke.  Matthew 16:17 – “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.”

That the Father had revealed to Peter “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”)

1 Corinthians 3:16 – “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”

1 Corinthians 12:16 – “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”

Expanded study of the verse Matthew 16:19

In our opinion The most missed, misunderstood and under-utilized promise of Jesus is mentioned in Matthew 16:19 – “I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

Matthew 18:18 –“ Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

It is our belief that ‘the heaven’ Jesus mentioned here where the church now has His authority to bind  is the ‘First on Earth’ and their bind will also duplicate in ‘The First Heaven’ shown in Chart A. This is where  ‘Satan and his demonic principalities and power operate’ since Adam and Eve sinned and are the source of all evil, diseases, deaths. destruction on Earth and Anti-God activities.

What Jesus gave to the church is the power to overcome Satan and restore like He repeatedly demonstrated during His ministry on Earth.

First Heaven:

Gen 1:20 – “And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.”

Daniel 10:13 – “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.”

Ephesians 6:12 – “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

The Second and the Third Heavens were created by God and has the divine presence of God to reign with no evil present and therefore there has been no need for the Church to even exercise their authority to bind anything evil other than on The Earth and The First Heaven.
