Trump claims that “productive” talks are underway via intermediaries like Pakistan, aiming for Iran’s unconditional surrender. The White House recently submitted a 15-point ceasefire proposal. The Iranian regime has publicly rejected the U.S. ceasefire offer, dismissing it as “negotiating with yourselves”. Instead, Tehran issued its own counter-demands, including war reparations and sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.
While there is significant domestic unrest, including a nationwide internet blackout and a wave of arrests, the regime continues to function and launch retaliatory strikes against Israel and Gulf neighbors.
The White House has warned it is prepared to ”unleash hell” and hit Iran harder than ever if negotiations do not progress following the five-day reprieve.
