Louisiana decision has rendered racial gerrymander all but dead, Louisiana has made moves to redraw its congressional maps and suspended its May 16 primary for U.S. House of Representative elections; Florida’s legislature quickly approved its new congressional maps, and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed off on their use with great alacrity, ahead of their August 18 primary.
