This is more wishful thinking than reality. Contrary to what he says, the Chinese economy is not communist. It is in fact very competitive and more market oriented than many of the so called “free western countries”. (Just as a aside, the best slaves are those that are not aware of their enslavement!)
The political system in China is similar to the communist regime in the Soviet Union, but the economic system has been shifting away from a centralized communist system a long time ago, engineered by Deng Xiao Ping.
In the coming years we will see China shifting away from trade with the west, mainly the US and western Europe, and concentrate on Asian countries, and, while Asian countries will economically flourish, people in western countries will continue to pride themselves with the illusion of living in the free world!
