    Some Key Points regarding ROC:

    NICOSIA, 16 AUGUST 1960

Her Majesty’s Government declare that the main objects to be achieved are :

    2. Her Majesty’s Government further declare that their intention accordingly
    will be—
    (I) Not to develop the Sovereign Base Areas for other than military purposes.
(II) Not to set up and administer “colonies”.
(Ill) Not to create customs posts or other frontier barriers between the Sovereign Base Areas and the Republic….

(IV) Not to set up or permit the establishment of civilian commercial or industrial enterprises except in so far as these are connected with military requirements, and not otherwise to impair the economic, commercial or industrial unity and life of the Island.
    (V) Not to establish commercial or civilian sea ports or airports.

Are the Globalists preparing to expand their military conflict with Iran to include the Med. Sea, with Cyprus Akrotiri and Dhekelia bases central to it? While the potential for operations from these bases are high, are there any mechanisms available to remove it’s participation? Questions that need to perhaps be addressed…

    within this frame:

    1) Treaty of Establishment, 2. (I), (IV), (VI) are clearly breached by the 2014 Accord between UK and ROC. As a multilateral Treaty, its terms are legally binding, hence aren’t amendments subject to mutual agreement between “all original signatories”?

    2) Isn’t a UK “Act of Parliament” required to amend the original Cyprus Act 1960? As it was not done, doesn’t this make the 2014 Amendment void?

    3. (II) Not to set up and administer “colonies”: Isn’t 2014 Amendment setting up the UK sovereign territory, by UK’s own legal definitions, as a “colony”? Doesn’t the exclusion from the “British Overseas Territories Act 2002″ strengthen this position?

    4) Would the above be considered a “breach” of the Treaty, hence under the “Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties”, UK’s “sovereign status” can be challenged by Cyprus, Greece and Turkey?

    5) As with the legal arguments by the ICJ regarding Chagos Islands, can the same “unlawful” detachment of territory during decolonization” argument be applied to Cyprus by Greece and Turkey?

The Republic of Cyprus undertakes to ensure the maintenance of its independence, territorial integrity and security, as well as respect for its Constitution

    Article II

be secured to it by the Republic of Cyprus in accordance with the Treaty concerning the Establishment of the Republic of Cyprus signed at Nicosia on to-day’s date.

      Article IV
In the event of a breach of the provisions of the present Treaty, Greece, Turkey and the United Kingdom undertake to consult together with respect to the representations or measures necessary to ensure observance of those provisions.
In so far as common or concerted action may not prove possible, each of the three guaranteeing Powers reserves the right to take action with the sole aim of re-establishing the state of affairs created by the present Treaty.

      6) Per Article II, doesn’t ROC’s territorial integrity and security take precedence for UK (Cyprus) over any other defense, security agreements it has with other nations? With ROC, as established and regulated by the Basic Articles of its Constitution being their joint focus?

      7) While the Treaty of Establishment emphasizes full cooperation with ROC, and protecting its interests, is UK in practice guided primarily by its National Security Strategy and the “doctrine of vital interests”?

      8) Would Cyprus, an EU member trigger the mutual defense clause under Article 42.7 of the Treaty on European Union (TEU) if it becomes a victim of “attack on its territory”? If invoked, all other EU member states are legally obligated to provide assistance by “all the means in their power”.

      9) Would Turkey…

      • Sophie

view a collective EU response as a non-neutral stance that undermines its strategic interests and the security of TRNC? Would this stance be neutralized under its NATO framework with the same nations?

        10) Would “networked maritime presence” including EU, NATO member Greece’s militarized islands serve to protect Cyprus, the maritime sea routes and serve as deterrence?
Would this NATO, EU participation creating a “multi-domain web” serve as key deterrence for UK in its use of Akrotiri and Dhekelia bases for Mid East (Israel) operations?

        11) Would UK shift its strategy to align with the NATO countries security around ROC and the Med. Sea? Would this therefore achieve ROC’s critical objective – territorial integrity and security?

        12) Would NATO, EU countries’ presence simultaneously neutralize the Med. Sea as a potential front for the Globalists to expand their military aggression in the region?
