Mar. 23, MediaLine: Pres. Trump has ordered a 5-day pause on planned US strikes against Iranian energy facilities following talks with Iran aimed at a “complete and total resolution of hostilities” in the Middle East.
In a Truth Social post, Trump said US held “very good and productive conversations”. He described the discussions as “in-depth, detailed, and constructive” and said they would continue throughout the week.
Jerusalem Post: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei denied on Monday that any talks with the US had taken place, contradicting Trump’s earlier statements
Mar. 23, Times of Israel: Netanyahu and US VP Vance held a phone call earlier today to discuss efforts to renew talks between the US and Iran. The pair discussed the components of a possible deal between US and Iran.

Potential reasons for the above announcements:
~ Using “theatre as warfare” where publicly displaying intense hostility towards each other, both US and Iran have their hidden objectives met without public scrutiny.
~ Iran’s “plausible deniability” of any talks with the US being essential for its credibility within the “axis of resistance” e.g. Houthis, Shia population. This prevents domestic backlash, and simultaneously, necessary concealment of their operations.

The aim being to “build societal resilence” in order to maintain functional integrity in global markets. that would authorize countries to use “all necessary means” – diplomatic language for force – to protect commercial shipping in and around the Strait of Hormuz.

What is the point of these Resolutions when UN is a Globalists org. Where Russia and China are likely to veto. Could “exposure through inaction” be used where highlighting the UN’s inability to resolve this crisis could be applied in a broader scope over all global governing bodies?
While Trump has repeatedly called out UN for its ineffectiveness and incompetency, what would be required for it to be seen globally as a redundant org.?
