Blood moons, September 2015 Rosh Hashanah and Day of Atonement have come and gone

Blood moons, Rosh Hashanah and September 2015 Day of Atonement are over. Jonathan Cahn has gained the attention of millions trying to play the prophet. Speculations, expectations, and excitement have come and gone and Jonathan now says of the USA: “If there’s no return to God, its crown as head of nations will be removed.” He expresses an opinion about the USA (shared by many Christian denominations) which shows their confusion and inadequate understanding of the Word of YHWH God and the spiritual dimension of our world.

The first mistaken idea is that the USA was once a godly nation that served YHWH God and because of their righteousness the nation was exalted as the chosen nation about all nations. Jonathan Cahn and these mistaken Christian denominations think of their country as God’s modern Israel, the new chosen nation. But the truth of the matter is that the USA was and still is a nation that ignores YHWH’s eternal Law, that serves a pagan trinity of gods, and that thinks they obey the Messiah of Israel but generally do not and never have. The USA was given authority to rule over other nations not because of their righteousness and holiness but because of their wars of conquest, plunder, greed, pride, craftiness and crooked laws and international treaties. This talk of “returning to God” is ridiculous.  This nation, allied with Great Britain as a two-horned beast, is given authority, with Great Britain, by the first beast, which is the confederation of European nations.

Secondly, the idea that YHWH God is about to remove the crown because the citizens of the USA will not repent is contrary to the scriptures. The prophetic books reveal that the godless nations of the world will go from strength to strength, from violence to violence, and join together in an assault on the true servants of YHWH God, all those who worship the true God of Israel, who obey YHWH’s eternal Law, who speak the truth, who reveal the future and expose the real character and nature of the beasts.  USA with Great Britain will lead the way in persecuting the holy ones of YHWH God..

Forget about Jonathan Cahn – he is playing the prophet. Now let the true saints of YHWH  attend to becoming the true chosen nation’s watchmen. To become watchmen we need to start seriously studying the scriptures together, meditating, sharing, listening and learning, using the Key of Knowledge to test ourselves so that we can discover and know with confidence what to expect in our future.
