WHAT??? Another Rapture Date Come and Gone? Have I got GOOD News for You!

In my study of the “End-Times,” like many of you, I have prayerfully considered many scriptures to try to understand the messages that God has for me and my family.

The book of Revelation is a mental rollercoaster, filled with bits and pieces of understanding, yet so many hills and valleys of confusing esoteric language. Why?

I have concluded that a crystal-clear interpretation of this book is not possible. However, I have found great comfort from understanding the few verses that speak directly to my spirit. I would like to share my discovery with you today.

Many of us are longing for the return of Jesus Christ. We are very aware that our world has changed, as the waves of evil have flooded our leadership, schools, entertainment, and even neighbors. We feel that we no longer belong in such a deranged world, and await a rescue from a loving Father in Heaven.

For those of us who have studied the end-times, we are very aware of the events that are foretold:

• The Rise and Global Rule of the Antichrist and False Prophet.
• The Mark of the Beast, and Inability to Buy or Sell Without it.
• The Great Tribulation
• God’s Wrath Poured Out upon the Earth.
• The Battle of Armageddon

For those of us who identify as Christians, we begin to realize that we will soon become the “hunted ones.” Under the rule of the anti-Christ, there is no place for people who do not worship him. This is satan’s time to rule the earth, or so he says, and he will destroy anyone that is in his way.

Fear would be a logical response from anyone realizing that this is the agenda for our final days on earth. Yet, I’d like to share another arrow in the quiver of our Master. Shall we not consider what plans our God has for His children during this period of time?

There is endless chatter on social media regarding God’s plan for the end-times. Many are convinced that God will rapture His church from the earth. Dates are set, yet they come and go. Our hopes are high, yet become shattered when this expectation seems to dissolve again and again. Noone knows the date or the time, so why are we participating in the expectation of the rapture on certain dates?

Isn’t there something else that we can hang onto? Something that is SOLID, clear, defined, and given to us from a prophet of God? Yes…there certainly is. Are you interested to hear what God wants you to know today?

The following scripture contains the answer of what I have been seeking for a couple of years. These are such powerful words, sprinkled in a book that seems hard to understand.

Revelation 3:10

¹⁰Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

In the Bible, the “Hour of Temptation” is a short period of time, 7 years, when the events listed above will take place. However, God has told us through the scripture above, that He will KEEP US FROM THIS TIME. Are you understanding the depths of this promise?

Just like when He parted the Red Sea, the Israelites were rescued from those who were “hunting them down.” They were “Kept From” the death and destruction that they must have thought was about to take place. A MIRICLE! Something, that I’m certain, nobody was looking for as a solution to their dilemma.

And so, a MIRICLE lies ahead of us. This miracle very well could be the rapture, or ANYTHING else that God has planned. The key point to understand is that GOD is very aware of us and the situation that is happening upon the earth right now…and… He will keep us from the things that are generating your fear.

We no longer have to wait for a specific event, such as the rapture, to find peace in our hearts. You can find that today… right now, by understanding that God will keep us from this Seven-year period of doom and despair.

As a father, and grandfather, I have always placed myself in the lead position of keeping my family safe. As I have been writing this article, I have come to realize that I am not the commander of this responsibility anymore. God will take the lead now. He has promised us something that I could certainly not do myself in protecting my family. I will follow HIS lead. I will trust His leadership, and do the things that He asks me to do. Yet now I know His plan for us, I will enjoy the peace in knowing that we are protected… and…that we are about to see a miracle from His hands.

I will not concern myself with what specific event that He has planned for us, His church. I will no longer mark my calendar with “High Probability” dates for the rapture. I will continue living my life serving Him. I will try to help those lost souls in finding the eternal blessings of accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior. I will rejoice with them, as they apply the principle of repentance in their lives, and feel the emotion of “CLEAN Once Again.”

Please join me in removing fear, disappointment, and worry from your life with the understanding of His promise to us. “God has got this!” Let us stand STRONG in the armor of God. Proud to be called Christians. Let us continue to pray for “assignments from God,” as we love those around us. Let Him shine through our actions is my prayer…AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
