Bible Study – What were some of the reasons that the Christmas Story had to happen, the rest of the story! Part 5

Did Jesus know before His birth on Earth that He would have to suffer, go to Hell and also be brutally punished for three days in Hell before He would be resurrected by God on the third day ‘so that you and I would be given the choice’ by God to receive Jesus as our Savior, to be forgiven of our sins and by The Word of God be Born Again to have Eternal Life or NOT?

Yes, we believe that Jesus knew before He was born on this Earth (in the Spirit World) He knew what He would be suffering to fulfill the will of His Father, to remain sinless and then, after taking our sins upon Himself, be falsely accused and  endure brutal, unrelenting punishment by the crowd, and then the Roman soldiers, during His crucifixion and would be hung on the cross to suffer a long, slow, miserable death for our sake and for His Spirit and Soul to go to Hell.

Before his trial Jesus prayed to God in the Garden of Gethsemane:

Matthew 26:36-46 (KJV) “Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.

³⁷ And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

³⁸ Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

³⁹ And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

⁴⁰ And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

⁴¹ Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

⁴² He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.”

The Bible teaches us that Jesus body was so abused by Satanic driven individuals and demonic spirits that He was unrecognizable as a human being. Isaiah 52:14 (KJV)s – “As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men”.

Our opinion is based on the fact that Jesus was in Heaven way before what we started to learn in the Book of Genesis in the Spirit World before the Word of God that revealed the presence of Satan on Earth in the Book of Genesis. Jesus told His disciples in the Gospel of Luke 10:18 (KJV), “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven” which occurred long time before God began to create the World as we now know.

In the book of Revelation, the Bible teaches us about the one third of the beings also who were cast out along with Satan because he had convinced them with the same evil desire to be god as he had in his heart and thoughts. Rev 12:4 (KJV)-”His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child, he might devour it.”

Thus, as centuries before, the Holy Spirit revealed to us in Isaiah 53 the details of what the coming Messiah would experience to redeem us of our sins so Jesus must have have known and believed that to be the will of His Father.

Also, the most convincing evidence was presented in the previous Bible Study Part 4 in which Jesus taught His disciples about His body that would be broken to make us whole and shedding of His righteous blood to make us righteous (for us to be sinless so that we could be in right standing with the Father) and on God’s promise to Jesus to Him that on the third day The Temple would be made whole.

Matthew 12:16 (KJV) – “from that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.”

Over the years Satan has stolen the Word of God from people to know the truth about the FREE GIFT from God. John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Jesus not only exposed Satan but He also warned us about what Satan’s evil character, motives and actions are:

John 10:10 (KJV) – The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Mark 4:15 (KJV) – “And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.”
