I have no doubt that there are some in real need and could be on the system however I know darn well and see all the time people who have their own money with the EBT cards the snap program and what not using our taxpayer dollar instead should not be on the program and it’s about time that their money lapse. It is a question of priorities and it’s about damn time some of these people have to learn to prioritize their budget and their lives they will not go without food there are plenty of Charity places offering food even if they can’t buy their junk food at the local store but point being is they have money they refuse to prioritize it they won’t starve they do not have to starve there is no excuse for anyone to starve.
AND ALL THIS AGAIN is an argument for SMALLER FEDERAL GOVT, all FOOD and other #WELFARE (itself, Federally UNCONSTITUTIONAL, “Promote the General Welfare” meant promoting POLICY that AIDS ALL AMERICANS not individual Welfare checks) programs MUST BE ALL AT STATE, neigh LOCAL, levels!!! Let each STATE fund that/them, make each STATE fully responsible for ANY AND ALL MONIES in such programs from THEIR OWN #TAXPAYER EXTORTED FUNDS!! Better yet, END THEM ALL and put it back to #CHARITY via #CHURCHES or NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS that RAISE FUNDS PRIVATELY (ZERO GOVT FUNDS FROM ANYWHERE, PERIOD!) to that those that KNOW THE PEOPLE LOCALLY know who is in REAL/ACTUAL NEED vs SCAM. #Bible makes distinction UNABLE VS UNWILLING!!!
There is NO WAY that 12%+ of folks in our Nation NEED that, require that, deserve that stolen from other Taxpayers and redistributed to them (when local CHARITIES can, could, should, be determining who REALLY NEEDS vs unwilling to do for self scamming system or refusing prioritize their budgets for needs over wants as Working Americans have to do).
COMMUNITY (Voluntary (Free Will, Freedom), Charitable (from/with own Blood and Treasure), lift UP, etc.) Biblical
COMMUNISM/SOCIALISM (Forced, theft redistribution, tear down, etc.) IS NOT
I am on DISABILITY (and 4 years of #BIDENflation has DESTROYED my Budget and need help myself), I do not, NOR SHOULD I, qualify for these programs!!!!!
