The extensive repetition of integrated square-and-circle geometries suggests a manufactured origin, challenging the paradigm of random weathering.

1. Introduction: The Statistical Challenge

In planetary geology, rare anomalies—such as a single perfect crystal or a freak erosion pattern—are expected. However, the discovery on Sol 4745 presents a different class of evidence: Ubiquity.

The subject of this study is not an isolated artifact but a textured “fabric” covering the observable field of view.
