Why Do Internet Users Now Prefer Brave and DuckDuckGo to Google Search?

Many users are leaving Google’s search engine due to growing concerns over privacy. Google’s data collection practices, which track user behavior to personalize results and advertisements, have led users to seek alternatives that prioritize privacy.

DuckDuckGo is widely chosen because it does not collect or share personal information, avoiding the creation of a “filter bubble” by not tailoring results based on user data. This commitment to privacy is a core reason users switch, especially as awareness of surveillance-based business models grows.

In response, alternatives like DuckDuckGo and Brave offer AI features that can be disabled by default, allowing users to access traditional, unfiltered search results.

DuckDuckGo’s search engine, while relying on Bing for indexing, provides a clean, privacy-focused interface with features like “Bangs” for direct access to other sites and customizable search settings.

Brave also attracts users seeking privacy, offering built-in ad and tracker blocking, Tor mode for anonymous browsing, and a smaller, more curated index that avoids spam and low-quality content. Although Brave’s search index is smaller than Google’s, it focuses on popular and reliable pages, and its browser is praised for speed and security.

Additionally, Brave’s integration of privacy-preserving features like the Basic Attention Token and a non-custodial crypto wallet appeals to users interested in decentralized web technologies.

I have suspended writing for a while to ensure that all changes made to this blog, whether to reduce visibility from search engines or deny access to my readers, are restored. However, it seems things are getting worse.

For example, both the blog’s favicon and apple-touch-icon.png have been disabled, making it difficult for readers to identify the blog and revisit it.

I have found a lot of irregularities and have decided not to publish anything longer on this blog to strengthen the relationship between Google and me, but things are not working.

It is not every time that I will appear on this blog to write about detected manipulations. If the situation hasn’t improved, I will publish the whole list of abnormalities very soon. Enough is enough.

It baffles me a lot to acknowledge the fact that by now, Google still doesn’t know who Joel Savage is and what he can do and they keep on underestimating me. I have written more about clandestine activities of Google than any writer.

If Google were to admit and speak the truth today, they would say they are losing more clients or users. Many no longer consider Google a friendly search engine but a bully, oppressor, and violator.

If a whole search engine company that has set rules for others to follow could engage in such clandestine activities, then it is likely that they can do that to other people as well.

Users are rapidly leaving Google for search engines such as DuckDuckGo, Brave, and others because they want to avoid Google’s bullying and enjoy their privacy.

They destroyed our genuine health blog, “Secrets of AIDS and Ebola Journal,” and since I am aware that articles on my blog are being suppressed, I have been posting them somewhere for better views.
