He is an interesting and intelligent guy with a decent grasp of history and international politics, but like anyone else of his experience and stature, he isn’t right about everything.

What bothers me the most about his view on our government’s overall handling of relationships with the rest of the world is that whenever questioned about the soft fascism we’ve turned to since Vietnam to satisfy the Military Industrial Complex/International Corporations, he states that this country was never intended to be a democracy and that despite several high profile failures, the intelligence agencies and military have to do this stuff (directed by executive authority)to protect “the American People,” and that the US doing whatever it has to to stay the only global superpower is necessary for our survival and prosperity.
