Yankees Send Jose Trevino Away
The New York Yankees made a noteworthy roster move, acquiring right-handed pitcher Fernando Cruz and catcher Alex Jackson from the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for catcher José Trevino.

Signed by the Reds to a minor league deal prior to this trade, Jackson will likely provide depth behind the plate for the Yankees.
