The Ravens’ 2025 Season: A Betting Overview

With just a few weeks to go before the Ravens open their 2025/26 NFL campaign with a blockbuster matchup against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium, it’s fair to say there is some optimism in the air around Baltimore. As mentioned, in February, Baltimore has been tagged as the favorite to win Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium. The odds available are somewhere between +600 and +700 with most sportsbooks. However, we must provide a significant caveat: there is very little to choose from (in betting terms) between the Ravens, Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, and Kansas City Chiefs. And some sportsbooks do have the Bills slightly ahead of the Ravens. It’s almost a four-way tie. Having four teams locked so closely before the season is nearly unprecedented.

The Ravens’ AFC Odds

As you might imagine, the Bills also led the markets to win the AFC Championship Game and make it to the Super Bowl. The odds available are just a smidgen over +300, and, yes, the Bills and Chiefs are right on the Ravens’ heels once again in this market. It underlines that the AFC is arguably the tougher of the two conferences. The Eagles, Detroit Lions, and 49ers lead the way in the NFC betting markets.

The Ravens’ AFC North Odds

The Ravens are firm favorites to win the AFC North, coming in at about -160 across different sportsbooks. The Bengals are expected to offer the closest challenge, followed by the Steelers. The Browns are big, big outsiders.

The Ravens’ Playoff Odds

The simple yes-no market of being one of the 14 teams to make it to the NFL postseason sees the Ravens priced at -550 to still be in the mix in January. Interestingly, the Bills have lower odds (-750) than the Ravens in this market. This is likely due to the fact that the Bills have a much easier strength of schedule than the Ravens.

Win-Loss Totals

Predicting win-loss totals transcends sportsbooks and becomes an art form among sports data specialists. Nonetheless, the main takeaway is that the Ravens have been pinpointed to have over 11.5 wins, i.e., finishing the season with 12-5. That’s not to say they won’t finish better, or worse, but that’s the margin that most analysts are setting out.

Individual Awards

Unsurprisingly, Lamar Jackson is among the market leaders for NFL regular-season MVP. Again, you will notice a recurring theme here; he shares that status with Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Allen got the upper hand in the vote last time, but it was close. John Harbaugh is +6000 to be named Coach of the Year, making him one of the outsiders. Mike Vrabel, who has been tasked with turning around the fortunes of the New England Patriots, leads that market.

The Market Movement

We will finish by pointing out that the Ravens have a ferocious start to the season regarding meeting tough teams. Aside from that mouth-watering opening against the Bills, there are games against the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs in September. It’s a baptism of fire for the current favorites for the Super Bowl. The outcome of these games (the three ties sandwich a fixture against the Browns) could go a long way to firming up the markets, but they could also cause sportsbooks to recalculate their position on the Baltimore Ravens this season.
