Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears president Kevin Warren promised that there would be “shovels in the ground” by the end of 2025 at the Arlington Heights location that the team purchased in 2023.

More news: Chicago Bears likely to not have top WR’s for Packers game

Turns out, the exact opposite has happened. After another year of nothing being set in stone, the Bears are looking into other options for a domed stadium.

The Chicago Bears are exploring their options outside of Arlington Heights according to Kevin Warren

More news: Collin Cowherd considers Chicago Bears to be legit title contenders

In an open letter to fans and season ticket holders, the Bears’ president announced that the franchise will be looking at other stadium options outside of Arlington Heights.

Warren mentioned that the team will look at other options “throughout the wider Chicagoland area” and specifically mentioned Northwest Indiana.

The Bears’ president discussed the lack of legislative help from the Illinois government as an issue.

Many fans are speculating that this is all a leverage play from Warren, while he declines it being leverage.

Warren ended his letter stating that the team’s goal is to “build a world-class football team that has a world class stadium worthy of our world-class fans”.

It’s frustrating that there is still no concrete plan on the stadium. Many fans are outraged over the idea of the Bears moving to Indiana. Many Bears fans are also frustrated that this stadium announcement came just days before the biggest regular home season game in years.
