Chicago Bulls have drama popping up between Coby White, teammates: Report
The Chicago Bulls are getting a much-needed break this week after losing seven straight games and eight games in its nine outings.

The Bulls started the season 6-1, but have dropped 11th place in the Eastern Conference with a 9-14 record following a 123091 loss to the Golden State Warriors (without Steph Curry) at home at Sunday night.
Chicago will not play again until its travels to face the Charlotte Hornets. Head coach Billy Donovan was hopeful the time off could help with physical injuries, but the team needs some time to get right mentally amid a disastrous run since around the Thanksgiving holiday.

Per Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, the team is not in a good space, and Coby White is trying to “put out fires” in the locker room.
“The losing has taken a toll on team chemistry, enough so that several veterans are doing their best to try and hold it together,” Cowley wrote. “A source told the Sun-Times on Monday that this is a crucial time for this team because it is starting to splinter.
“The source went on to say that Coby White – the longest tenured Bull – has been one of the main figures behind the scenes trying to put out fires, limit the finger pointing, while still holding teammates accountable.”
White is doing what he needs to do as a leader, but it’s time for front office to do its job.
The roster, as constructed, is not a contender, and the Bulls need to ship tradable pieces away (like Nikola Vucevic) and begin the process of tanking to acquire a top pick in next year’s draft.
Cowley’s report on Monday paints a different picture than what Donovan tried to present on Sunday night following the loss to the Warriors when he said the team liked each other.
“Our team likes each other,” Donovan said. “But until we love each other enough to dive on floor for loose balls or box out, where you’re doing it for the guy next to you, this will continue.”
Looks like the losing will continue, with more bad blood to come.
