The Chicago Bears finished the 2025-26 season first in the NFC North with a record of 11 wins and 6 losses. They were a top-three rushing team, garnering 144.5 yards per game. They also led the league in takeaways during the regular season. Chicago dominated offensively in the postseason, finishing in the top 5 in passing, rushing, and total yards per game.

Caleb Williams led the way for the 2025 NFC North Champions with 3,942 passing yards and 27 touchdowns. The 2024 1st overall pick helped the Bears post their best regular-season record since 2018. They defeated the Green Bay Packers in the wild card round of the NFL playoffs, 31-27. Unfortunately, they failed to overcome the challenge of the 2022 Super Bowl champions, losing to the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round, 17-20.
Despite the loss, the heartbeat of Chicago beat together every game week as the Bears finally finished above .500 for the first time since their 12-8 record in 2018. This capped a historic season for all the Bears fans in the Windy City.
On Sunday, right after the Super Bowl, the Bears took to social media to send a strong message. This team is already starting the work now that the NFL offseason is officially underway.
“Back to work,” the team posted on Instagram, sharing a hype video for the 2026 season.

As they now look to build on their success, the Chicago Bears set their sights on the 2026 NFL Draft. They currently have the 25th pick of the first round and the 57th pick of the 2nd round.
It’s well noted that the Bears traded their 2026 fourth-round pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for veteran offensive lineman Joe Thuney. This proved to be a valuable move for Chicago. A testament to this is how the four-time Super Bowl champion won the inaugural NFL Protector of the Year Award.
The Chicago Bears are looking to make a similar impact this offseason. Their big goal is to take the next step in 2026, following their successful 2025 campaign.
