Caitlin Clark established herself as the most popular player in the WNBA today.
She garnered a lot of attention before she entered the league as the No. 1 pick in 2024. The 6-foot guard enjoyed a successful collegiate career with the Iowa Hawkeyes, leading the program to consecutive national championship game appearances.
She continues to expand her portfolio with brand collaborations and endorsements. Clark also launched her foundation in 2023, focusing on education, nutrition and sports to provide kids with support. Her off-court activities endeared her even more to Indiana fans as she continues to give back to the community.
On the court, Clark and the Fever have secured three straight victories. They have moved past their slow start to the season and are ready to live up to expectations. Indiana was one of the preseason title favorites, and experts project them to have a deep playoff run this year.
Caitlin Clark asks fans to buy her book
Clark recently announced the upcoming release of her children’s story book, “EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams.” During her pregame presser on Saturday, she discussed how much this personal milestone means to her.
The 24-year-old reiterated that this is the first book she’s ever written, contrary to what others might claim. She is requesting that her fans purchase this one instead of any other book out there.
“Yeah, it was fun to write that,” Clark said. “You can buy the book, and you’ll understand there’s a true meaning behind it — this mirror that I grew up with in my childhood bedroom that my parents still have. It’s really cool, really personal, and I think it turned out really well.
“It’s something I’m super proud of. Obviously, there are a lot of books out there that people think I wrote. This is the first book I’ve ever written, so buy this book — don’t buy the other books.”
The two-time All-Star added what inspired her to write it.
“It was inspired by a cool mirror I had as a young kid in my room, and it’s actually still in my room at my parents’ house,” Clark said. “I don’t know if my parents will ever take it down at this point, but yeah, it’s a cool book. I hope people buy it and can share it with young kids; I think it has a special message.”
The book will be released on Nov. 3 and will be available in two versions. The hardcover costs $19.99, while the publisher has not revealed the prices for the e-book and audiobook.
