Caitlin Clark sends heartfelt message to Indiana Fever teammate
Indiana Fever fans are excited to see their squad run it back in the upcoming WNBA season. The 2025 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup champions made significant moves this offseason to strengthen their roster.
Indiana re-signed key players such as Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull. They were part of the Fever’s core that had a franchise-best finish of 24 wins and 20 losses last year.
Fever’s star guard, Caitlin Clark, is also back after missing most of the 2025 season with multiple recurring injuries. On top of that, they have also added key pieces such as Monique Billings, Ty Harris and Myisha Hines-Allen.

Indiana Fever: Caitlin Clark has nothing but love for Lexie Hull
The Fever showed promise in their three pre-season games. They finished with a 2-1 record, including a 48-point victory over the Nigerian national team. Unfortunately, Indiana’s sixth overall pick of the 2022 WNBA Draft was absent during their tune-up games.
Hull was sidelined throughout the preseason due to a lingering hamstring issue. The incoming fifth-year guard had an impressive 2025 season for the Fever. She averaged 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.2 steals in 44 regular-season games.
Despite her injury, Hull was active on the bench, cheering on her teammates during their preseason games.
The 2021 NCAA Champion recently shared a photo on Instagram of her cheering on her squad. She posted it with a caption of “⛹🏼

The Fever showed support with a comment saying “Yeaaa lexieee

On top of that, Clark left a heartfelt message for her teammate and good friend.
“Love you sm,” wrote Clark.
This brief message speaks volumes about the nature of the relationship between Clark and Hull. It has just been two years since they became teammates, but there’s no denying that their bond now goes far beyond the confines of the basketball court.
Hull is a valuable asset for Indiana. She provides energy that complements Clark’s scoring prowess at the backcourt. The 6-foot-1 guard will likely come off the bench for the Fever. However, they will need her production if Indiana wants to win it all this year.
